Amazfit VERGE or VERGE Lite - What to buy? What is the difference?

- Following my recent review on Amazfit Verge, which was released this week, I decided to make this video comparing the technical specifications of the Amazfit Verge watch and its simplified version of the Verge Youth Edition, which has already been dubbed Lite.

In general, the HUAMI company this year somehow diverged into simplified versions of its watches, because not so long ago they were announced, and now the most popular Amazfit Bip in the Lite version are already on sale.
In fact, GPS was cut out from the usual Amazfit Bip, 2 new colors were added and the battery was slightly increased. But the price has dropped decently. In China, they want 299 yuan for them, which in terms of rubles is about 2800.
It seems that the promise of a popular watch promises to become even more popular.
And so, HUAMI rolled out Verge Lite not so long ago, somewhere in May of this year, but the usual first-generation Verge has almost turned a year old.
Despite this, the Amazfit Verge model is quite relevant for purchase this year.
So what is the difference between the regular and lite versions?
The appearance of this watch is almost the same, with one exception in the Lite version sawed out the built-in speaker and microphone. Accordingly, the functions of telephone conversations and calls are absent here.
Moreover, the weight remained almost the same - 43.8 grams, against 46 grams in the regular version.
One would think that the size of the battery was increased, because the manufacturer claims a 20-day operation of the device on a single charge, with moderate use, and without using GPS. Amazfit Verge is open for 5 days.
But no ... The clock has a battery of the same capacity 390 mAh.
Also in this watch there is no module of permanent built-in and random access memory.
So the function of using the watch as a player is also canceled.
The watch Verge Lite has a touch-sensitive Amoled display with a diagonal of 1.3 inches covered by a gorilla eye 3 with an oleophobic coating. But here is the Always On Display mode as in the older model - no.
We also cut the number of activities, in the Lite version there are 7 instead of 12 types: This is running, walking, cycling, running on a treadmill, cycling simulator, orbitrek and exercises.
GPS / GLONASS is present, but there are no more sensors:
The watch does not have a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, an atmospheric pressure sensor and a presence / absence sensor on the hand. There is also no Wi-Fi and NFC module.
But in the global version of Amazfit Verge NFC, the module is also missing, so here we can say without changes.
And here is another nuance, due to the fact that Verge Lite was released relatively recently, they can be ordered only with English and Chinese.
There is no global version of this watch yet.
Additional languages, including Russian, are expected only by August of this year, but this information is not yet accurate.
Another difference between this watch is that Amazfit Verge works with the Amazfit Watch application, and for the Lite version you need Mi FIT.
And the only plus of the Lite version is the presence of a more modern Bluetooth 5/0 interface, when version 4.2 is installed as in the older model.

А что там с Verge 2?
Часы отстойные, к сожалению.
Покупала обычные Вердж, походила неделю, они очень глючные.
Потом поменяла на лайт и капец, как вообще пожалела, что связалась с этими Амазфитами
На этом нет русского языка и постоянно на часах идет обновление, каждые 10 мин ( что садит батарею) и в конце обновления, пишет ошибку, что сбой обновления.
P.S. продавцы нае.... обманули, что русский есть... Потом сказали, что скоро будут с обновлением...
Но, как я уже сказала, обновление не удается.
Жесть. Нервов нет на них. Брала в оф.магащине с гарантией.
Ого, как. Ну я с обычным верджем норм подружился, меня устраивают. А то что, лайт версия до сих пор еще не локализована, я не знал, обещали к концу августа вроде как.
@@blitzzkey я думала, что обычный вердж должен летать был, а он ну просто постоянно подвисал, особенно, когда происходил входящий звонок. Если бы купила в Китае, даже бы не возникала... А так, в официального представителя осуществила покупку и первого, а потом поменяла на этот лайт. Ну, подожду до нового года, в потом пойду в магазин к ним, будем думать, что делать с часами этими. И вообще, что предложат...
@@user-hj1ml6is7e Попробуй перезагрузить и приложение,и часы и смартфон.Я когда только их купил,не приходили уведомления с Вибер и СМС. После перезагрузки всего,никаких нареканий. Всё работает стабильно.

Массивненько смотрятся, Bip нечто среднее между verge и Мибэнд. дождусь выхода 2 Bip и решусь что все таки купить)

А если сравнивать verge lite с haylou solar? В курсе про проблемы с переводом на haylou.
А зачем сравнивать? Часы совершенно разного уровня
@@blitzzkey просто мне нужен будильник и время с шагами и не могу определиться между ними ? Так в чем между ними разница по сути и те и те фитнес часы ? И verge 2018 года на сегодня ещё не устрарели?
Просто по видео обзорам и там и там будильник цветной экран, haylou правда обещают 30 дней без подзарядки, что поводу перевода мне все равно что на русском, что на английском языке меню смотреть, просто если бы был бы уверен в прошивке haylou, то по мне разницы особо между ними нет:)
