I like the way you video shot this video around Ho Chi Minh city. It gives people a chance to really glance around the city, food stands, construction. It just nice!! Thank you for the good work. Really miss Saigon.
Thanks for sharing yet another good video of life----and traveling in Vietnam. I consider myself a seasoned and good driver here in the US but watching this I'm not sure if I would make it past one block there in VN. Amazing.
As long as you move with the flow of traffic, it's not too bad. and avoid driving too close to the curb, especially when you're making a right turn because some idiot will cut that corner trying to make a a left turn from the opposite direction
Cyclo riding is diminishing unfortunately, gone were the days when we saw these cyclos at every corner of the city. But it won't disappear anytime soon which is good.
Wow; so many people, bikes, scooters, etc. I would have been scared to ride in that but it will be wonderful to experience from the safety of my exercise bike, lol. Thanks!
A very interesting and different perspective than your normal walking videos but very enjoyable all the same. Except it was a bit disconcerting watching all that traffic coming at you around you and so forth but what an experience for you it must have been. The man peddling appeared to be a nice man.
These motorists are able to merge and flow so easily because they are focused (not distracted like western drivers) .. and they are all travelling at the same speed so they can predict every driver's trajectory .. they don't seem to be in a hurry like so many western yahoos ..
I wonder if someday, you can share your interesting stories about our walking tour since you have been to so many places all around the world... share perspectives about your experiences in the various cultures you had encountered.
Kinda deceptive. Time is "dai tung" in Vietnam. Also, people drive motor bikes in a Zen fashion, not thinking just driving...one doesn't think of rushing anywhere except foreigners. Just go with the flow, fast or slow...

Vietnam seems a pretty good country to touring the whole city by cycling and have a rental bicycle for tourist needs.

The unspoken rule for traffic is .. watch, yield and not hit the other guy. It looks chaotic and scary to the uninitiated, but works out very well.
