Awesome video. I watched videos on TH-cam using a stock plugin Sytrus to make your own drumkit. Also there's Patcher that you can use to make your own plugins in Fl Studio. FL Studio is the best DAW in my opinion. The best free DAW in my opinion is LMMS. Keep up the great work Sum. 👍
I wish they would just make another Dr. groove from Cubase in 64 bit. That was the best drum plug in aside from the lack of ability to drag and drop waves. I want to just make my own kits instead of the preset stuff.
Hey so that monster DAW looks like a pretty small program, so I assume you including it means you know them personally (or at least that you have contact with them), so it might be worth letting them know that going to their website on chrome or Firefox gives a security error. Looks like it’s just some flag that hasn’t been updated that causes that, should be a quick fix
I tried modo drums after seeing one of your videos.. It has to be the best free one out there.. Plus the expansion are reasonable prized to buy from ik custom shop..i have made a mix templete from the free modo drums default settings with some uad plugs in the drum bus and now it's sounds way better then any another drum vsti I have heard.. Lol
I was thinking about putting it on the list I already had a bunch of acoustic drums. I wanted to put a little variation of the kinds of drums on the list to help more people. Buuutttt that is a solid drumkit.
I didnt like the BFD much so far. The grooves library is pretty modest and not so easy to navigate, and the sound is also kinda meh, even though it is fairly customizable, so that could probably be adjusted better with some more playing with the plugin. But the library is more important. If I'm not a drummer I probably dont know how to make good drum grooves either.
BFD is definitely more based on raw samples then something like Mixwave or GetGood Drums! MT Power kit might be something to try for your case as well.

I'd have to say my favorite on this list has to be Monster Drums. Its got the most options and its easy as hell to figure out.

Trying to install drumforge plug in on my pc. doesnt install all the way. Tried 4 different drum plug ins and didnt work. Any advice?
