You are correct. I had an anodized one for about a year and it faded to hell. Raceseng uses a matte clear which will hold up much longer compared to the other. I would recommend treating it like a body panel and adding a bit of wax to extend the life on it.

The translucent finishes work almost in the same way that your clear coat does on your paint. Shouldn't be too bad, but you can get some scratches or marring if you aren't careful.
Do these work with the reverse lockout? About to purchase and no-one is showing the contour in the car, or answering this question. If it just sits on top, and extends the height of the shift I am incredibly not keen
All you have to is find out the thread patter of ur shifter an see if its the same as the frs. If not just Google weighted shift knob for ur car an I'm sure u will find something
The only reason why I havent gotten one of these from this brand is because they are way to much money #1 and now...everyone has them. I gta be different man

How does the paint hold up on the tow hook from all the UV rays? Will it turn pink in a couple of months from the Florida sun?

How does the slammer or the contour Translucent knobs do against scratches if I'm wearing a ring etc. Please give me an idea!
