I like mine too, but have not beat on my Bauer saws, the Pole saw is good too. I cut down 6 big hedges and a bunch of limbs off a couple pine trees. And bought both saws on a deal, buy a battery and charger for a free tool. So got 2 5 amp hour batteries and chargers and both saws for under 200 bucks. What a great deal!
I only found 2 tools out of probably 25 battery operated tools that I don't like. I took back the 7 1/4 Hercules circ saw and got the 6 1/2 circ saw, smaller one is better for me. And the 50 dollar Bauer air inflator shuts down sometimes so I got the cheaper Bauer air inflator and put gumband around the trigger so I don't have to stay bent over pumping up car tires.
I went Hercules. But have a few Bauer tools.. bought a adapter for Hercules batteries and 1 for 18v millwalkee... both work great in Bauer tools. I only have 2 Bauer tools. Well 1 and the battery inverter
Always wait for the sell and get the tools Free.I got the 2 Bauer saws for free and got the Hercules dual power vacuum for buying 2. 5 amp batteries and charger for apx 150 bucks. I figured I saved around 500 bucks on all my Bauer and Hercules tools and got every tool I would ever need. Well... Almost, you can never have enough tools. LMAO 🤣😂.

What size file do you use to sharpen the chain?
Depends on the chain size but usually 1/4” or 9/32
What battery did you have in the saw here?
A 5Ah
Is there any safety measure on the trigger, so say if you were packing it in a pack or something like that triggered didn't engage?
Yea there’s a thumb button to push for the throttle. Or simply take the battery out
@@koacres I did think about taking the battery out after I asked my dumb question thank you for the response
Seems like something I could throw in my suv and forget until its needed

It must be a good item by the way you take care of it.
It’s literally sat outside for the year and a half. Mostly in the bed of my truck
