I've lived right across the street from Lake Tahoe in a beat up old one bed/loft style cabin that was built in 1936 for over 18 years. And actually most of the homes and apts (old hotels turned apts) on my side of the street are pretty old and in need of a little love and are probably considered tear downs. But all the houses across the street from me (on the water) are AMAZING. The cheapest starting at around $6million+w/private docks and beach fronts etc etc . I've often thought of how lucky I am to have such a nice cozy old cabin sharing the same lake views and beautiful neighborhood at less than 2% of the going rate. I got lucky🤗 Poverty with a view lol
