Good videos young man. I am asking a doubt for my son who is now waiting results of CBSE 12th. Is Btech Biomedical Engineering a good course to take with regard to salary in India. or is it that the scope for BIomedical in terms of salary and placement is more in foriegn countries only? If so, is it better to do btech here in India and then do Masters abroad and try for jobs there? thanks in advance.
Glad to see a relevant question, Biomedical engineering is a good course as lots of innovations and developments are happening in medical device industry and India as a big market, more opportunities Will generate in coming years. You can find medical devices parks in India and govt is promoting make in India, India is importing approx 75- 80% medical devices. Many companies are starting manufacturing medical devices in India itself, and the trend will increase in coming years as the market potential is high. Regarding salary, it depends on where we are working. Multi national companies are paying well, if we are having good understanding about the opportunities and focus towards the career, we can get into good companies. Opportunities in MNCs are comparatively less and many opportunities are in service sector as we are mostly a consumer country, less opportunities in other segments because of the importing trend. Doing Masters in abroad is really a good option because of diversified job opportunities, good salary structure and better life style. Selecting good university is also important.
@@BiomedicalVlogs Thank you very much for the detailed reply. Hope Govt model engineering college at Thrikkakara is a good option for Btech Biomedical.

You will be required to qualify KEAM in Kerala. Neet is not required. For those who have studied diploma, lateral entry exam is also there to get admission directly to 2nd year.
Entrance exam is a basic criteria, you may get admission in private sector, i can’t guarantee good college in that case. Where you are studying is also very important if you need to explore well.
