Karen people don't like to be called Burmese and don't identify as Burmese because of the brutal oppression caused by the Burmese military. It would best to rephrase the title to respect the people in this video. All of these people are my friends and colleagues who would not appreciate being referred to as Burmese.
At 6:36, was it supposed to be Mon or Hmong. I know their is a ethnic group called Mon also but maybe the sub title put it as Hmong by mistake? I'm Hmong myself and I don't think there is much or barely any Hmong in Myanmar.
OMG I thought you guys were calling someone a Karen (pejorative) and I was so confused 😑 ... Hilarious mistake though, glad I was wrong or else that would have been messed up 😂
Our country with our bloated sense of entitlement have become such a pathetic people. Up in arms about things such as trans when there people all over the world subjected to so much cruelty like rape and murder.
It’s terrible, this is so sad. I pray for them to use their education for the better & save their futures. All governments allow this to occur across the globe in some fashion in the killing of their own people & only worry about how many crimes they can commit to gain money & more power. It may not be as sinful as these people have had to endure, but be assure it is happening in some way some how everywhere on the globe- even in the USA where I’m at. They say we have freedom, we don’t have freedom like people think. We do have a constitution that’s protected us greatly; however, our own gov has bent around all the rules every way possible to get us. The top few don’t want any of us in their preplanned futures, unless it’s as a slave class for all those that do make it to the other side. These days are particularly troublesome & sheds a lot of light to what’s been planned for us for a long time coming. To those that this documentary is about, please stick together. Divided you’ll fall, but United you can win. I wish USA had the same heartfelt emotions when speaking, but they’ve never had to endure what you have. Stick together & know that the good guys of the world simply want peace for you and peace for all. Don’t let governments misrepresent us little people, for they don’t represent the majority of us- by 90%!
Back in 2006 I went around Thailand on a motorbike, just above maisot near maela refugee camp I stayed in a shack that was owned by a Karen guy, just at dusk I saw 3 or 4 men heading towards us,"who are they" I asked-theyre my friends who have been fighting the burmese army!- lol, excellent people
He's talking about Karen that don't speak Karen, most people in kayin state speak Karen but they are also scattered across Burma, many near the Irrawaddy delta, and they often don't speak karen, but are nevertheless proud to be karen
I loved the two guys singing. That was nice. God bless the children.
Yes , they have good harmony.
Now I know what these Asian Karen's are about when I search TH-cam for the latest Karen videos. Watching them was the best thing about the pandemic.

Nah, the are a small pocket populations of hmong in Burma, they are part of the recognised native 135 ethnic groups.
Why are we not getting more information about Burma and what the soldiers are doing to the people. I think the world needs to know what is happening.

Be careful with letting the American armed forces become too privileged, or you'll see similar outrages.
