Yeah. And in a way, they have faith in each other. Peter wants MJ to stay down because she's a normal person but MJ refused to be 'babied' I was so pissed at that part of the game because Peter was in the RIGHT. Felicia and Peter worked much better because Peter let her do her things out of trust that she can handle herself and Felicia lets Peter handle things when he felt the need to, the balance is weirdly harmonious and I really LOVE the dynamic

Gotta love Black Cat and Spider-Man together. Those who know, know that Peter feels completely different about Felicia than he does MJ. Felicia brings the fun and adventurous side out of Peter in a way that MJ never could. Plus you can tell that they actually care about each other despite their moral differences. I love how they gave her a nice, playful side (6:39). I’ve always prefered anti-heroes over villains, and this is a perfect example. Hopefully Spider-Man 2 has multiple playable characters (Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Black Cat). And don’t even get me started on how hot she is.

To be fair all three episodes together take around 5 or 6 hours when I played it doing some side stuff which isn't bad for DLC. Then again I only paid $20 for a new sealed copy of the Game of the Year edition of Spiderman at Best Buy so didn't pay full price for DLC. Also recently got the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales on PS5 which includes the Remaster version of this game so get to replay soon.

Does anyone else think that if he'd said he was single again, the whole plot might have been different? I don't think Felicia would have manipulated him with the same hurtful lie if she thought there was a chance of them getting back together. You could even interpret her telling a lie of that magnitude as her deliberately doing something he'd struggle to forgive so that neither of them would be tempted to try again.
On a separate note, I love the way she surprises him repeatedly; he's not on permanent high alert because his spider-sense warns him of danger, but he can be taken by surprise in a non-dangerous way the same as anyone else. I wonder if she knows exactly how the spider-sense works and is deliberately pranking him with harmless jumpscares?
I think the plot might have been a little different. But ultimately Felicia would have still needed to lie to Peter because of his strict moral code. The thing is, the case could be made that Felicia never intended for Peter to think he was the child's father. She may have intended for him to think she had a child from a previous relationship. When Peter started to ask her if the child was his son, she replied "He's MY son". So imho she hurt him unintentionally, and that's probably why she risked her life to come back and help him with Hammerhead after she faked her death.
And yeah, i don't think he can sense when someone's about to play a joke on him since it doesn't qualify as danger. He can only sense when he's in danger, or when someone within his proximity is in danger.

One of my favorite little touches Insom does, is how they make the animal characters actually act and move like the animals they represent.
Peter’s wall crawling looks even more like an actual spider, obviously the Rhino has his charging, and Scorpions perched predator posture makes him look like an actual Scorpion. But my favorite is this little moment.
