It's not the typical purple you remember the anime, it's actually this black cloud with like red bloody spheres bleeding out of it. It's fucking horrific and badass as fuck. But in the anime he didnt use the aura but like once. So cool. But I did change to ss4 gogeta and then ss vegito, I find Vegito's to be the coolest because it just has the most particles, the most lightning, biggest, etc. Ss4's isnt as good as it should be, not as magical as it looked in the anime.

Stack extra health on your base and buff attack and defense on your ssj. It won't let you change it in hero mode, has to be in customize or free battle menu for some stupid reason. Makes everything easier if you do.
The easiest way to play this game is just do training sessions in between so you get the good skills, because I restarted mine and found it a lot easier than my first run through. Also steedoj you cant do a recovery if you don't have any ki

Wish more games did what the older budokai tenkaichi games did and had fights where you fought an oo villain who was supposed to beat you. Plus when you got gud and went back to beat them it unlocked what if sagas. Like the fight against Raditz with Piccolo in BT2.
Steedoj, hope this helps, you can't escape combos solely by button mashing, for some reason you have to charge your energy at least halfway or more to escape it, though with the way it works I can't guarantee you'll be able to counterattack and actually escape the combo instead of prolong the inevitable.

I know this comment is a bit late and I'm not sure if you'll see this, or if you have already gotten a comment like this in a previous video, but this is something that can be helpful. In this game, picking the option with the 3 fists (I have never learned them as light and heavy so I'm just going to confuse myself if I start) is actually used for draining your opponent's ki, which is why it gives you next to nothing on the spirit guage. There's also a specific pattern of it you can do that does far more damage than the others (it varies by fighting style and I don't remember any of them off the top of my head). Also you can only mash out of the combos if you have around enough ki for the dodge option, and it will only work before the last part of the combo. I am very sure this is just due to lazy developers. You can grind the tournament on the map for stats, since you fight 3 people and get more stats than random battles (again, not sure of the exact values). One more thing, I don't know if this counts as a spoiler but it's a lot of BS when it happens. The game will actually completely stop your character from gaining stats at some point. (I'm not sure of the exact mechanics to it, but in my experience, it happens if you grind too much, even after the final boss)
Hey steed, I've played this game when it came out and I thought I should share a very helpful tip. When trying to recover make sure you have ki, without ki you wont recover. Ps. Train with as many people as you can, you'll need it lmao
here's a game tip your ki must be at 3 or 2 to recover quickly and just press the 2 buttons and if ur caught in a chain with no ki don't attempt to recover cuz you don't have ki just hope you don't take too much damage
Finish Android 18's training, you won't be disappointed with the Ultimate she'll give you Ps Finishing Janembas training will give you the super spirit bomb (the one where you go from base to super saiyan in the cutscene) if my memory serves me.
I commented on one of your videos saying this lol but all you have to do is be Ki blast range and fly directly above them and charge all your ki to max and abuse the game after that and you'll never lose lol
Sorry you might have figured this out by now but the mechanic of getting out of an enemys combos relies on how much ki you have from your d pad full energy you just have to tap a few times but if its at the medium the dodge will require a good amount of mashing and if its at a quater or less its not worth trying to mash. You will get hit by full combo. Also little tip is that when your health bar is red it is best to then use your limit burst and get as many strong combos as possible you can then get in tons of ultimates and strong combos barly use your energy so you can go ahead and just keep getting ults
It took me forever to beat kid buu since theres athong in this game where whoever gets hit first is going to lose. This was one of my favourite game until I got burst limit. You should play the first raging blast game it has the hardest controls in gaming history
You can't recover from those mini cutscene attacks if you dont have at least a certain level of ki charged. If your bar is all the way down you won't be able to teleport behind them!
Hey Steedoj the best way yo get stats without story missons is winning the martial arts tournament win It a bunch if times yo get some xp its a small amount if xp but every bit helps

This is why you should have done the world tournament or blue fights, as mentor missions have no real affect on your stats when you have no stats to actually change, since your stats are insanely low
They do so much damage because you're grossly underleveled. The masters are there for a reason beyond just getting cool new abilities. They're part of the grind. You can also go to the WMA Tournament
Every mentor fighting style have some animations where they hit extra times to deal more damage when you do the X combo. Every fighting style have different combos so sometimes when you have Goku fighting style and hit X in a certain direction, the animation can be longer which will deal extra damage (Idk exactly which direction but i remember abusing the gogeta and vegito fighting styles)
It still gets to me that a Super Saiyan can fight Omega Shenron.😆 Is Omega a pushover? Or can a Saiyan improve its Super Saiyan form to keep up with anything?
Has anyone told Steedoj that your Strike Gauge (The one that allows you to intercept, Evade, and block attacks) determines how you can evade a persons attack combo? If it’s high enough it’s easier to escape attacks lmao
Okay, The Game is Very Difficult and There's even Harder Fights on the Way.but something to know is That each battle kinda relys on your Energy Meter not your Ki because to recover from combos you need at least a little meter So ESPECIALLY when fighting a boss battle to always Charge Up.
