It certainly is worth it, beautiful song! Pullborough Brooks is a cracking reserve and has the potential for a really wide variety of species. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area 👍🏻
Dan the turtle doves may be a subject you could possibly put your vast skills to in the new year they are so rare these days and such a beautiful bird. have a good 2024 and keep up all the good work. cheers Sean
Such a privilege to see and listen to Nightingales these Days, there was a couple of reliable sites in Northamptonshire, but didn’t hear any this year. When I used to Carp Fish in France they kept you awake all night🥱
Right on my doorstep, there were so many nightingales this spring. I managed my first photo of a nightingale at Pulborough. It’s all flooded there at the moment, does every winter as it’s flood plain. Great video Dan.
Thanks very much Bob. Very lucky to live near such a fantastic reserve, I’m certain I will return in the future and we may cross paths. All the best 👍🏻
Magical piece of footage, such an iconic songster, only seen one once at Grafham Water back in the 70s , was singing and showing itself for about 15 minutes, typically none of us had a camera. Thanks for another lovely video.
Great shots but like most reserves, as you are well aware, what you see one day you don’t see the next. The video was a pleasure to watch just to see and hear the Nightingale sing.
Dan, when did you record this? I have the feeling it was back in the Spring. Pulborough Brooks is my "local", just 15 miles from where i live and I visit it quite a bit throughout the year and have recorded several videos there. If you ever come bac k, let me know, it would be good to meet up. Great video, by the way.
It was back in Spring Brian, unfortunately I picked up a back injury and so couldn’t get out so had to trawl through some of my content that I hadn’t put out. I’m glad I did as Pullborough Brooks is a fantastic place! I will definitely give you a shout next time I’m back in that area, would be great to meet up 👍🏻
Worth getting wet just to listen to the Nightingale singing. Looks a lovely place.

That nightingale is just amazing to watch mate
Cheers John, they really are a stunning little bird aren’t they?
All the best 👍🏻
Another quality video Dan
Thank you very much David, appreciated as always 👍🏻

Thanks Sean, I will definitely be putting them on my list of target species for this year. You’ve definitely peaked my interest 👍🏻

Thanks very much Laurence, really appreciate it. You are the second person to mention France for Nightingales so maybe I need to take a trip 👍🏻

Thanks very much Stephen, it was a first for me to and a real treat.
All the best 👍🏻
Lovely shot of the Nightingdale.
Thanks very much Charles, always appreciated mate 👍🏻
Great close-up of the Nightingale, Dan.
Thanks very much Victor, appreciate it 👍🏻
Another great day out! I guess that your wife isn't as keen on being on video as Pops? Thanks for bringing us along.
Thanks very much Jon. My wife hates being on the camera and avoids it at all costs 😂😂😂

You are absolutely right, I think that adds to the thrill when you get a great encounter.
Glad you enjoyed the Nightingale 😊
Nice Dan, still yet to see a Nightingale! Will have to pay a visit!
Thanks very much Graham, you will have to wait until the next Spring as they will have gone to warmer climates by now.
All the best mate 👍🏻
Thanks for video Dan. Looks like a really good place to visit. But where was Pops??? I hope he'll be back next week!
Thanks very much Debbie, Pops will be making a return soon 😂 all the best 👍🏻

@@danwillis_photography Look forward to it. Hope the back has recovered, I know how uncomfortable and frustrating back injuries can be!
Very nice footage of the Nightingale Dan did you get any picures of the turtle Dove that was puring in the background of your nightingale footage?
Thanks very much, I wish I had known that was a turtle dove I would have loved to have seen one. Thanks for pointing that out to me 👍🏻
New friend from India.
Thanks very much, it’s great when I get comments from overseas. India is such a beautiful country 👍🏻
