Blower motor resistor controls cabin fan speed. If the blower motor resistor dies, the cabin fan does not work; mean neither hot air nor cold

Basically fan speed when you change fan speed and the fanspeed dont always changes it might be this thats starting to die.
Had it for 3 year before its now on default.

There is an emergency situation thing you can do (for winter time). For most cars do when the resistor? Or something gets disconnected= max fan speed only.
Got and i20 started to rip out my entire front panel (dash? Where fan button is, a bit out = max speed been so for a year now🤣. Had to bend it out today..time to repair that i think 🤔
