First off, congratulations on finding your ideal home and new normal. Once again, the parallels are so amazing. When we were living in the US, I honestly thought we would be stuck in our property forever. it was in an ugly town in the middle of nowhere and had been on the market without a single bite for over 4 years. Until...a friend I met for half an hour at someone's house in Panama planted the seed in our minds to sell it FSBO. Literally, within 10 days we had an excellent cash offer that we accepted. Like you, we thought we were moving to one country, only to realize right away that we were in the wrong place (Panama). We then chose Chile, which has truly felt like home to us. Guidance has led us to the wilds of Patagonia and we are counting on Guidance to lead us to our ideal property so that we may create the life and community of our vision. If you left the US just about a year ago, that is exactly when we left as well (I think we flew out July 9th, 2022). Every time I start to get nervous or anxious about how on earth are we going to find the right place, I remember that it is not "my" decision to make and feel into trusting that Guidance will lead the way. Unlike you, we just signed a one year lease yesterday, which will give us more time to seek, listen and follow without the pressure and stress of trying to find a place quickly. Our vision is so beautiful and lovely that we want to give ourselves the time to expand into it, to gather the souls (like your realtor), the resources, the knowledge and the YES that you found in your new lovely spot. I look forward to watching as you literally and figuratively unpack.

I’ve always been one to think things through, carefully consider consequences, make lists of pros & cons, and to make a step by step plan to achieve my goals once I determine what they are. But there have been a couple of times in my life, crisis points, where I could not depend upon logic or the mind because my thoughts were a reeling tangled mess. I instinctually knew that I had to clear away the noise and listen to what my heart was telling me. For me it felt like a pulling in, a centering. I found waiting there a knowing of what I needed to do A knowing beyond knowing. Certainty. I don’t know why, but until watching your video just now, I hadn’t really realized that this is something that can be tapped into daily. I don’t have to wait until a crisis to seek this kind of clarity. This feels like a breakthrough. Thank you. 🙏

It's also incredible to see an entire family using guidance, listening to you and your family explain it was fascinating. There's only a few people in my life who I've been able to relate and talk to about this. I feel like we live in a world where most people don't know how to trust it, but it's such a life hack when you start listening to it. Learning about the methods you take to listen to your inner guidance has been super insightful for me as well.
What a wonderful lesson, I could literally feel my anxiety slipping away at the idea of practicing and putting my trust in that inner knowing. WOW, I needed to hear this, right now. It is like having that all loving companion that always leads you in the right direction.

Wow! Congratulations!! You are so right about the inner guidance. When we moved to Spain we didn't follow our inner guidance and we put a down payment on a house on the coast and after making this down payment l couldn't sleep at night because my inner guidance (which l was ignoring) was telling me that it was a big mistake. Unfortunately, we lost the down payment but we learned a very valuable lesson. What we did instead and what felt right from the beginning was to renovate our apartment in Madrid and that was the perfect choice for us and 3 months later we are in our beautiful new apartment. For us, Madrid goes with our lifestyle and my family is here. I'm so glad that you guys didn't fall into any traps and you went with your inner guidance all along. I understand. This happened 10yrs ago...I was looking for a new house for over a year and now also had plans to go to a retreat in India in Feb. In Nov. I told my agent, that I was going to stop looking because I didn't want anything to interfere w the retreat. So I put my search on hold until March when I could start again. The end of March was when I found my forever home! It is important to trust the Intelligence beyond our minds and to get our priorities for our well being in proper order and surrender our selfish needs.
Portland Native here im 25 so roughly the same age as your boys. Seeing your journey has been really inspiring living vicariously through your experiences. I have a friend who moved to Madrid and my soul has been calling for me to create a new normal for myself one day as well. It is so vastly different from how I used to make things happen, and now rather going with how things work out. Congratulations, so happy you both have finally found the perfect place to call home 🏡🇨🇵✨ The video was beautifully presented and explained in a way that could resonate with everyone. For me the experience with inner guidance has come sometimes when I was least expecting it. An example eight years ago, we were feeling the need to sell our small apartment, ideally it would have been best presented for sale while not living in it. But having two children and a dog, finding an affordable rental just didn't seem an option. One morning while in the shower my mind was relaxed and suddenly without warning the words "Move, move now!!" entered my head, it was so profound that I answered it back saying we can't, we can't afford to rent.. A reply came back "You can, move now!" I was so shaken by this I jumped out of the shower, towel wrapped around me and went straight to my husband saying we need to move and start looking for a rental property today! To try and cut a long story short, within three days we found a suitable furnished rental house, signed the contract and moved in 10 days later. I was then able to make the apartment presentable and list it with agents. Six weeks later an agent called, a couple were visiting the area for three days only and could they look at our apartment. After a second viewing they put in an offer that we accepted, they were the first and only people who came to look, I knew then why the urgency to move was so profound! ✨🏡✨ Eight years on and that same inner guidance is now propelling us forward yet again, this time patience is the instruction, with a big relocation move to happen sometime within the next 18 months. We've done the ground work and have found the ideal area to live, so now we just patiently wait for certain circumstances to align, the right property to then present itself and it'll be all systems go, just need to hang on tight and remember to trust in the process!! 😬🙄☺️🙏✨🇪🇸🇬🇧🏡✨
I can not believe your new home is where I think it is. I just bought a place nearby, like really nearby 😅. Like you, finding the house I dreamed about had been a journey ! And I ended with something very different than planned, in an area I knew not much about ;)))) I am happy for you. Maybe we will meet around a barbecue someday.

One think that really helps to get access to my inner guidance is writing, I knew that especially when i'm so stress i can't hear anything is the best way, automatic writing, put all my worries without thinking and then suddenly a voice appear

I have been desperately waiting for this video, but it wasn't what I expected. Loved the angle and really enjoyed the perspective you chose to tell your story. Fabulous storytelling and video quality. So excited for you both that you found just the right place. Looking forward to continuing to hear about your journey and love to hear the details behind your process. It keeps things so real and grounded. It's great that you both are willing to do the hard work of life and to be willing to share that with us. I'm hoping that you will be comfortable at some point to share more of the actual house with us and more detail of what you fell in love with. I loooooooved this video. The way you speak about guidance is like intuition! It's also incredible to see an entire family using guidance, listening to you and your family explain it was fascinating. There's only a few people in my life who I've been able to relate and talk to about this. I feel like we live in a world where most people don't know how to trust it, but it's such a life hack when you start listening to it. Learning about the methods you take to listen to your inner guidance has been super insightful for me as well.
What a wonderful lesson, I could literally feel my anxiety slipping away at the idea of practicing and putting my trust in that inner knowing.

Congratulations!! I am so happy for you. We also just bought a house. Our experience was very similar in our approach to asking for guidance and going with our inner wisdom and not our head. We found a house in less than a week and everything has fallen into place. I believe that finding a home is mostly magic and grace.

Wow! Congratulations!! You are so right about the inner guidance. When we moved to Spain we didn't follow our inner guidance and we put a down payment on a house on the coast and after making this down payment l couldn't sleep at night because my inner guidance (which l was ignoring) was telling me that it was a big mistake. Unfortunately, we lost the down payment but we learned a very valuable lesson. What we did instead and what felt right from the beginning was to renovate our apartment in Madrid and that was the perfect choice for us and 3 months later we are in our beautiful new apartment. For us, Madrid goes with our lifestyle and my family is here. I'm so glad that you guys didn't fall into any traps and you went with your inner guidance all along. Congratulations again and may you have many wonderful years in your dream home in France!

The rain at the end says it all to me. Although I can get tired of it, it’s so precious and it changes the way you see things. It can add a coziness vibe. It’s why the places we both are drawn to are green and full of flowers and trees. It must feel like coming home. We also get to live near our sons as well, and that makes me feel calm, centered and grounded.

I understand. This happened 10yrs ago...I was looking for a new house for over a year and now also had plans to go to a retreat in India in Feb. In Nov. I told my agent, that I was going to stop looking because I didn't want anything to interfere w the retreat. So I put my search on hold until March when I could start again. The end of March was when I found my forever home! It is important to trust the Intelligence beyond our minds and to get our priorities for our well being in proper order and surrender our selfish needs.

As someone who went through the same process exactly a year ago, purchasing their dream house in a new country - and what seemed to be - against all odds, I could relate a lot. Even though I didn’t know it at the time, as I was just “going with it”, nor did I want to set any expectations and get attached because the risk of failure was too high, now I’m certain that what simply felt right back then was in fact the most truthful decision I could ever make.
I wish you lots and lots of moments of joy and happiness in your new home - a home that would complement and elevate your everyday life to the heights you couldn’t even imagine!

It is so vastly different from how I used to make things happen, and now rather going with how things work out. Your story is really a confirmation for me as I find myself in frustrating circumstances, but I know that things are being worked out in my best interest. I find myself in a new unfamiliar territory and stage in my life, actually selling my house with the person that I thought would spend the rest of my life with in our forever home! This was a lovely video but would really find helpful for you reveal the steps it took to achieve the home and the residency. The philosophy is wonderful but the step-by-step would be the perfect companion to this video as sometimes someone who is stuck needs a very literal video to understand the journey. I think that’s what makes your son’s videos so irresistible: they’re extremely digestible and easy to follow.

Congratulations, so happy you both have finally found the perfect place to call home 🏡🇨🇵✨ The video was beautifully presented and explained in a way that could resonate with everyone. For me the experience with inner guidance has come sometimes when I was least expecting it. An example eight years ago, we were feeling the need to sell our small apartment, ideally it would have been best presented for sale while not living in it. But having two children and a dog, finding an affordable rental just didn't seem an option. One morning while in the shower my mind was relaxed and suddenly without warning the words "Move, move now!!" entered my head, it was so profound that I answered it back saying we can't, we can't afford to rent.. A reply came back "You can, move now!" I was so shaken by this I jumped out of the shower, towel wrapped around me and went straight to my husband saying we need to move and start looking for a rental property today! To try and cut a long story short, within three days we found a suitable furnished rental house, signed the contract and moved in 10 days later. I was then able to make the apartment presentable and list it with agents. Six weeks later an agent called, a couple were visiting the area for three days only and could they look at our apartment. After a second viewing they put in an offer that we accepted, they were the first and only people who came to look, I knew then why the urgency to move was so profound! ✨🏡✨ Eight years on and that same inner guidance is now propelling us forward yet again, this time patience is the instruction, with a big relocation move to happen sometime within the next 18 months. We've done the ground work and have found the ideal area to live, so now we just patiently wait for certain circumstances to align, the right property to then present itself and it'll be all systems go, just need to hang on tight and remember to trust in the process!! 😬🙄☺️🙏✨🇪🇸🇬🇧🏡✨

One think that really helps to get access to my inner guidance is writing, I knew that especially when i'm so stress i can't hear anything is the best way, automatic writing, put all my worries without thinking and then suddenly a voice appear

WOW! I love this video. Everything you say resonates. Some of the training I have been through refers to this act of seeking guidance as accessing the 'higher self'.
