Hey Duane! I remember using a hang on stand for many years, as I could get into any tree using my tree steps. I then incorporated using a climber stand when I knew I was hunting in a spot that had nice straight trees AND I knew I was going to sit all day. Not sure of the brands way back when, but, I did get a Summit Viper SD many years ago and just was a pleasure to use and I retired my hang on. This Goliath looks to have all the comforts of a modern tree-house and still coming it at around 21 lbs, it is hard for me not to just order one up right now! Nice review, as always! I just got mine earlier this year, and love it! I have ran it on public and private. Packs up nice and isn't heavy like people say! I also pack camera gear with it too. Awesome review!
Hey thanks so much man! Yeah this thing packs up even easier than the viper due to the size difference in the foot platform and seat frame. You’re right about the weight, too. I really don’t feel it while hiking. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
