I was blessed to be at the conference center that day. The Sacred Spirit was strong as usual. I am a personal witness of this great work and a wonder, but mostly and more importantly I testify of my Beloved Savior and Redeemer, JESUS CHRIST, HE LIVES!
I really love the eternal wisdom that is coming from repentance and atonement will bring to our life elder.

I am so thankful that the gospel was restored and knowing that Jesus Christ is alive and never abandoned me on these lo g years of trails in my life.
Thank you to the BYU choir, who sang so beautifully and with such great sincerity and brought such a sweet spirit to this session. I had the privilege of singing with the BYU choir at a session of conference in April 1982. Those sweet memories come back to me everytime I hear a BYU choir singing at conference.

Sat afternoon session makes you realize just how organized and accounted for the church is by the Savior. Because of it, the church has become a spiritual/material juggernaut that has swept the world in a very brief time. Great stuff.

This is just what I need when I'm stressed or unsettled.
Thank you, thank you thank you thank you thank you! I wish there was a way I could say thank you to Elder Uchtdorf for that wonderful message about being a parent. I know with absolute certainty that, although that message was meant for many parents, there were things that he said that I know only myself, and the Lord would have known those words when I speak to him and I pray for help as a father. You see, I’m separated from my wife, who is the mother of my two teenage boys, and I am struggling so much right now trying to be a good dad and trying to balance my own life and just figure things out and keep my head level above the world which is spiraling out of control right now. I feel so unworthy and so overwhelmed being a single father, even though the mother of my boys is still in the picture. We are constantly at odds with each other about various things. I’ve been away from the church for a long time and I’m trying to make my way back and I just keep getting things thrown in my way. Almost constantly now. I want to set a good example for my sons and I’m trying to overcome my own negativity about everything going on and I just sometimes feel like I’m in over my head. How wonderful the Lord is and how he speaks to us in such subtle small ways something I told my children is that the Lord does not work through floods he works through raindrops, and when I heard Elder Uchtdorf mention this, I just broke down and cried. I can see the evil all around us now and I’m trying to stay positive and keep focusing on Christ that bright beacon upon the hill but sometimes it’s so easy to lose faith in a world, so filled with stormy seas and dark skies. so many things are lining up now, and I am so grateful that the spirit still comes to me and teaches me things because I don’t feel worthy. I’m working on it though. I’m praying and I’m repenting and I’m trying to do better every day. I have a terrible temper and I’m trying to keep that under control. I want so much to be a good example for my sons, better than my father was to me. The talk by Elder Uchtdorf in this session was exactly what I needed to hear in every way. My heart belongs to the Lord, my God, and everything else I am yes he is as well, I only ask that as his child, he helped me walk a straight and narrow path and be a better example for my children who were his son’s first so that all of us can be together, eternally, and be reunited again. From myself all the way back to father, Adam and our father in heaven. I doubt elder who Dorf will ever see this message, but I will make sure that I am on my knees this evening, thanking heavenly father and the Lord for remembering me, and sending this message to me to give me hope and strengthen me.
I’m sure with your faith, you can ask for a Priesthood Administration for your quick temper I’m sure there are courses available to work through your anger issues Plenty of books in a Library or even online You can do it! Remember that where there is anger, the Spirit cannot abide “Contention is not of me” You’ve been humbled and now your heart is open to learning Love from Australia 🇦🇺
I felt so moved by Elder Uchtdorf's message as well and thought of scrolling through comments to see if someone out here felt what I did. then I saw your comment - thank you for having the courage to write down your story here. You inspire me to be better and stand up for my family. I wish you all the best for you and your boys.
I was also inspired by Elder Uchtdorf's message to me as a parent in a split-faith family. His talk was a much needed answer and comfort to my constant prayer for heavenly help.
What a beautiful witness to you brother of how the Lord knows you and your concerns so personally. Christ truly is the strength of us as parents. If anyone can help us overcome ourselves, it is He.
May He continue to bless and magnify your righteous desires and multiply your efforts to come unto Him and to bring your children with you.

It's very hard to raise children alone I'm so thankful for God's help i raised my 3 children all alone !!! Both temporal spiritual
The rostrum flowers were really pleasing to look at. Thanks to whomever is responsible for the design. God has given us so many beautiful plants to work with.

I know that Jesus Christ leads personally His Church, which bears His name, and all of His servants at the General Conference center are inspired to talk, teach and minister us all around the world with the words we need to hear - the things we need to know - from Him. Jesus Christ lives and knows the thoughts of our hearts and is always willing to heal us, if we ask humbly Him to.

I am so thankful for technology. I can feel the love & spirit of all who speak. The music is so beautiful from this young choir. I gain a stronger testimony after every General Conference. I love the Gospel!

I was not born with, nor developed the self confidence I needed to make the things in my Patriarchal Blessing happen. It's only been a source of disappointment and confusion for me.

My patriarchal blessing did a lot more harm than good in my life, so it's hard for me to hear messages about how great patriarchal blessings are. I think there is risk in making life-altering decisions based on a document that is not necessarily inspired.
