- Awesome Ideas with Cranked Motors and Capacitor. In this video, I am going to show you that how to make a Crank Powered Generator. It's very simple to make a power generator for hobby projects and experiments. If you can find a cranked motor, that would be so easy to make a one. Or, you can use some gears or, pulleys and belts with a handle to make your own crank setup. In this video, I used a three phase AC dynamo motor with gears and crank. I removed it from a cranked flashlight and I used a big capacitor(150,000uF) to save electricity. From this device, you can generate electricity any time. You don't need any external energy to create electricity from this device. Just use your muscle power. It may be handy for some people who have no electricity in their villages or countries. Made one using a bank of supercaps. I used the same motor you showed with the black wheel on it. Got mine at my local surplus store. You did a great job on your generator.
Use a 500F super capacitor with buck boost converters. With a powerful motor would charge it quickly with high amperage.
hey i'm wondering bout how to charge the super cap. does the buck boost converters will stabilize the output voltage of a generator?

I've watched it and saw that one of the motors came from a dvd, cd player or a computer disc drive. One is a AA battery operated skrew driver but not really sure of what the others came from and the one that I was asking about is the one with 3 wires to it. Ok I see now where you had gotten them from but what did the bldc come from as I didn't see it I guess I just wasn't paying close enough attention to the vid but that ok as I can rewatch it. Thank you for sharing as I'm new to your channel and wandered where the motors came from. Did it come from the wind up flash light or is it a radio?

@@SKILFULLIFE where can I get it? My uncle had one years ago but it had a motor that's in a cd/dvd player and wasn't very efficient at charging and the battery was almost shot.
you can buy one online or from some electronic shops. Soon, I'll post another video about modifying brushless motors. It may be helpful for you.

It is a three phase brushless dynamo.
The output of motor is ac right, so you made ac to DC converter before and connect it in the battery. Can I do this "connect the 12v motor in ac to DC converter then connect it to 5volts regulator and then in the power bank?
Yes, you can do so.
Hey last question.. I use 2, 12 motor then connect the 2 to one AC to DC converter then connect the converter to the 12v-5v regulator.. is it possible? And does it effect the production of current? I'm just confuse
A better motor is the ones that comes from the old telephones that have a crank to call the central operator , the crank is instead of circle with holes and numbers

That is a three phase rectifier for the three phase AC dynamo.
What if I want to charge 12 v battery what specifications should follow,?
It is hard to charge a 12V battery by hand crank dynamo. You have to use an external energy source like a windmill or a water turbine to continuously rotate the dynamo.

Yes, but you have to increase it's rpm to get a useful voltage by using gears or pulleys and belts.

There is a small capacitor on the rectifier board. It was charged when I was testing the dynamo.

Microwave motors can be used to generate high voltage, typically over 110V but very little amps.

I really don't understand why people use capacitors when they really don't hold good charges.
Hi Huck, the usage of capacitors in crank generators are 1) capacitors smooth fluctuations, 2) capacitors can hold the charge from few seconds to few hours depending on the capacity of capacitors.
I hope to be able to learn how to actually make one of these you see with 20 or 30 videos on here but you never see anything on Parts you never see anything else support to a number you never seen anything on different wants to support different amount of generate / store but the conversion plate from when you're actually turning the crank to what you're actually generating and that mean more or less versus life is cheap ass fucking portable fucking hand-crank Sandy Eternal for 10 minutes to get a fucking minute-and-a-half a fucking charge they wouldn't even work as a charger for like a car or anything as far as a phone an iPad and iPod they just suck miserably and break like literally sometimes the same day you buy them and I am so sick and tired of having nothing reliable as far as being homeless doing with snow rain people stealing your stuff and your stuff breaking but if I can actually find out how to build one of these especially one that they just put a battery in it and it's sub generating continuously as long as you turn it on it is a 2.4 amp charge then I would always at the very least that my cell phone could watch Netflix or something at my campsite would not have to go into town as much could you know possibly get a couple dogs and some other things to cook and have something worth more than running for another damn charge for my phone that's dying or not having it to look at for an appointment to get to or not having it for the need to say I'm running late because guess again my phone died and I have no nap you know the literacy most people don't average on day-to-day continuum That Homeless really is really really really really fucking miserable not to mention I live on disability so every time they raise my rent to the economy increases or you know they just don't like you because you're on disability and you're around all the time.
