    Let’s be real here, all of us have gotten into situations that could’ve been fixed easily if not for our brilliantly stupid plan that ended up making things worse.

    Who thinks of putting a hook in a rye bread? Larry David you brilliant SOB…

    • @bossfan49

      There were OTHER writers on the show. Are you sure it was Larry?

    • @bigh7972
      @bigh7972 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bossfan49 I am not sure that particular line was from Larry. However, between Curb and Seinfeld he is one brilliant SOB. I stand by that statement now and forever. Larry was known for coming up with concepts or story lines. The staff of writers along with Jerry many times helped with putting the scripts together.

      @@bigh7972 Carol Leifer, who wrote that episode, credited Larry with tbe idea about Jerry's confrontation w the old lady. She said Larry felt that Jerry should have 1 more obstacle before getting the rye to George.

    Each of the actors playing the parents (Frank & Estelle, and Mr. & Mrs. Ross) were just such terrific character actors, the likes of which we sadly don't seem to have many of anymore (where everyone just basically plays versions of themselves... :-( l

    You don't need to get the rye late. You get it early and get that out of the way. And don't involve Kramer. Then you have something.
