Totally impartial here, that was a horrible call. The benton player jumped into the defender and had no intention on making the shot based on the way he released it. He woild have had to baseball throw it to get it there. The ref got duped. If the ref wanted to b a hero y didnt he call a foul on the benton player for swatting at the ball from behind on the length of the court inbound or y didnt he call an intentional foul on #4 from benton before the ball was inbounded.Pinckneyville did another rediculous job of seeding the tourney to give them a path to champ but u have to give them credit for having a chance to win. Poetic justice perhaps? Having said that, the panthers missed free throws and the players unwillingness to take a charge after giving help cost them the game. Class 2a bball doesnt get any better. Good luck to coach laur his teams are always difficult to play.
