I think that Kai'Sa players should sometimes consider NOT destroying their scaling just to get all 3 evolves. It is okay to choose between poke/melting and kiting instead of trying to get everything.
Kraken into terminus built skips w 2 evolve and is fairly common. There used to be many aa focused builds that skipped w evolve. When going ap though, skipping q or e evolve is just dumb, as q evolve is too much of a early spike to miss out on and e invis is important utility
I kinda feel that the only way to be useful with KaiSa and have the 3 evo is with Statiik - Guinsoo's and Nashor's, the build feels so nice to play and I do think is the only hybrid build viable for her, Eclipse is way too overrated
@@MyNameIsKairos I think statik only made sense last-patch, just because how op the item was. Eclipse definitely has its place, there is a reason its highest win% an built by many top tier players
@@nadra0755 It has high win% because very good players play her and she is just that type of champ that shines in that environment. But it has the same syndrome as that duskblade build towards the end of last season. You sacrifice your scaling for a slightly stronger early game but then you lose lead over enemy adc because it sucks midgame. Look at how much Varus outshines him in this fights.
@@jefimijekrstic1855 Kaisa has a very high pickrate in every elo. Its a very mainstream adc, simply because of how fun it is to play. Also I dont see how the win% of one specific build would increase, if your claim that people that pick kaisa are skilled were to be true. Would it not just increase overall winrate?

i played her that way when i started with her and it awesome.
later i tried hob with an early hybrid, end game ap (like statik, guinso, nashors into crytp, zhonya, shadowflame, rabadon, whatever is needed) and nothing have felt this good
its a lot different kind of playstyle but imo (!) its a lot better
if u want high aa focused build meta is kraken into terminus

I mean, like since you’re playing ap kaisa which plays around w and passive I think that getting shadowflame 3rd or 4th would make a lot of sense to improve your damage no ? I mean each passive proc would deal a hella big chunk of damage to voli letting you transition to the carries you would os too.

Shadowflame is very expensive and not that good. Not every passive proc will do insane damage, obviously only when low does the item function
Shadowflame is shit in AP Kaisa
You dont build many AP heavy items. You need 100%;
- 1-2 AD/AS item
- Nashors
- Defensive AP item(Like zhonyas/Banshee)
-Maybe cryptobloom
You have one or two slots left. Last slots, 0 reason to go shadowflame instead of rabadons that give way more heavy AP as you already have some AP items.
Lethality kaisa. Well worth it

i go full ap kaisa first item shadoflame the reason is you get w with only 1600 gold i urgade 3 times my q and then w
i basically play her like a mage
for runes i go with first strike and sorcery if i can get 1600 gold without backing i evolve my w if i dont have that gold i wiill get a tear so i can get second item manamume
i dont know if i am just lucky with the games but i am sure this wont work in high elo since games end faster and you need time

When do you go static vs eclipse
eclipse is for when you want to go poke ap build for high range enemy team comp. statik is for hybrid auto attack build for high dps
