I'm working on an M right now and this is sure an inspiration! I have that same drill in the shed from my farming days too. Maybe next spring we'll have matching bean setups. I sure enjoyed this video.
When I was really little my great grandfather had a similar drill and we loaded fertilizer in the front and soybeans in the back and he would drive in a square shape and then plant his corner and we would be done. I love the umbrella on the M it is a nice touch to the bean planting rig
I’ve seen that pattern for soybeans. Got the umbrella as a toss in from my last tractor purchase. The farm had sold and they were just trying to get rid of things.

Thank! Good luck with your M. Oil those seed cups on the drill and see if the seed cup shaft will turn with a wrench - 5/8 if I remember correctly.
@@rogermiller7411 I'll remember that. Been so long on that machine. You make some nice videos and I appreciate them!
Thanks!
Nice very nice setup ❤

Nice set-up. The M sounds good...👍
Thanks! I bought it for parts but a friend of mine who is a tractor restorer convinced me to get it running. Glad I took his advice.
I had a John Deere Drill it was a double disc and Planted my Beans
It doesn't get any better.
