God graciously gives us wake-up calls. 3 years ago a physician ripped my carotid artery during a surgery he'd done countless times. I woke up in ICU instead of Recovery Room. That night in that darkened room it dawned on me that my probation ALMOST closed that day. No do-overs, no mulligans! Praise God for life to get things right in the Sanctuary with God!
at 16.11 i think you misunderstand the context of that statement....those who preach perfection only show how far they are from it themselves...God demands change and growth not perfection....if there is a people who lives beneath the cloud of guilt it is the SDA's....they have the best understanding of scripture but for some this false view of perfection is a killer....who would stand the in judgment tonight if perfection were the criteria for Heaven...NONE...we are perfect in Christ! And if sin was not expected in us the bible would not offer forgiveness for sin...The quote at 16:11 is referring to our likeness to God in loving other people as it says in Mt. 5> 45-48....

ERICA TERUEL - Your comment exposes how muddled your mind is. Elder Lemon is preaching the real everlasting Gospel of Rev 14:6. He is preaching the word of God, whether you agree with it or not. We all need a heart transplant so we no longer have a wicked heart. The grace of Jesus is His power to revive and reform us. We must be transformed to reflect the character of the Godhead or we will not be fit subjects for Christ’s Kingdom. Only God Jesus has the power to change us back into the image of God. Christ does it all for us - if we but die to self daily and ask him to change us, so that his will is done in us - not our will. Christ gives us true repentance and HIS faith. He promises to change us if we cooperate with Him. He knocks and we open the door to let him in to abide in us and us in Him.
