Agreed! Most other electric buses have.. let’s just say, unique bumps and shapes. I think the only other good looking electric bus is the Yutong E12DD or what some may call a “Pandan Loaf” or a “Green Toaster”.
It's very common to see SG4007T in Clementi recently, as it ran on 96/A/B today. It also usually runs on 282, but this video was a re-appearance on 990.
There's quite a few BZLs in England in service I believe although from what I know none so far have the two speed gearbox. I do like how it sounds when changing gear
China buses are actually easy to fathom First 2 letters are manufacturer codes, XMQ, ZK, LCK etc etc 6 - means it's a bus 09 / 10 / 11 / 12 - the length 5 - the model number Every letter after designates what version of that model For example a Yutong ZK6126HGA ZK - Yutong 6- bus 12 - 12 metres in length 6 - model number HGA - low floor citybus
Why does the single decker version give the option of 2 motors but not with the double decker one? 536HP for a single decker would be mental, but 268HP for a double decker, that's an EV just isn't enough
If I'm not wrong, both single and double have 2 motors totalling 286HP, but the option to switch between them is only available for the single decker? I'm guessing 286hp is adequate for a double decker since the B9TL comes with between 260 and 310hp
This is actually one of the few electric buses which has a very nice exterior, compared to other electric buses on trial.

@zionistnaziirl haha yes
I love the engine! It sounds so melodic, although when I rode it the last time i did not hear it, so thanks maxson for getting the motor sound!
Nice throwback video

@@glitchFan2428 argghh Volvo need to make this happen
Have them here now in London DD and SD version
@@kojo8770 oh yh true actually just look different I guess
I miss when buses had normal sounding names like Volvo B10M or MAN A95.
Not Yutong LCK0i594753-53057250254857
yeah why chinabus models starts with ZK61XX is hard to remember all of it unless you MEMORISE them
@@janchristianursuaaguilar7434 I guess no one memorises them, they simply look up the model names

I mean if I ask you what the meaning of a 1990 Scania N113CRB you'd be equally confused
Chinese buses names are like wifi names
Nice bus
I took SG4007T on days 3 and 4 of operation. Now, it only has about 2 months left…
I wonder if Singapore will ever receive MCV EV bodied Volvo BZL Electrics.
Hi Maxson! Is the Volvo BZL the first 3-door bus to use the SBS Transit Door Closing Chime in both its exit doors?
Cool
manual and automatic plus electric? what witchcraft is this?
this cannot be all the bus debuters

@glitchFan2428 on their official website I saw a line of text saying that it has a electric driveline outputting no less than 550HP
@@T_vEg ooo I see, I'm not aware of that. Seems like a lot of power for a bus!
second
also those gears are banger
Imagine electric bus with 4 gears
