This was a very one sided battle. You need to make it so that there’s a chance to catch up. The dispensing of the marbles was pretty much the same, as in you need to make a way so that it’s completely random, as this had a cap on how many you could get, because it would spawn on the release side, and then there was nothing to stop it from releasing the marbles, making it very anticlimactic. A great method to work around this would be to have more dots, and make them move up. Increase the height of the fall as well. Then there’s the fact that if one side gets to the next level before the other, there’s no way for the other side to come back. We saw with red, they levelled up before blue, and had the upper hand for the entire game, so you could tell what the outcome was from the very start. A way to work around this might be to make exp gain faster for the side with less exp, or even remove the gaining health factor entirely. Overall, if you look at the channel MIKAN, there’s some things you could learn from them to help you a lot. Of course don’t outright copy them, but look at how they do randomisation and implement that into your own races. Good luck
