If you're new to MoR upgrades: Shield - The white ring around the base is the shield ring. If a player doesn't have a shield anymore, they are vulnerable. If a charged shot is bigger than the shield ring, it is the shield instead. Marble - Adds the number of marbles in the plinko +10% Multiply - Adds 0.1x of multiply value +1 Add - Adds 1 of add value (gets pretty weak later on) Starting number - The number that a player releases without any multiplies or adds Brick - The required hit points of the new claimed territory
16:10 Blue: "I had enough of you bs red, its time to stop" Red: "ha! my shield will take that easly" Purple "Then let me help" 16:25: Red "no no no wait...weak can talk..." >Dead< < monster play ground time > 25:32 Blue "hey old pall hows it going" Yellow "No no no no noooooooo" 25:46: Blue "this is it Purple, its you and me" Purple: "you talk big blue, but I will get my shield back up and take you out" Blue: "lets see about that" 26:21 Purple seeing that the end was nigh like "oh not like this...shsssss" Blue "Party Time!, Im BLUE daba dee daba doo"
Add starts becoming useless after about 5-6 points in, only gets more useful around late game where its increase benefits multiply heavily and allows for quicker super charged shots. Honestly the most powerful upgrade is probably 10% multiply, then extra marbles, as having 3-4x multiply with even like 10 add quickly ramps up in power, and being able to quickly fire off 100-1000 power marbles is very useful
Red could conquer, but couldn't protect the land. Yellow built some walls up, yet had no funds to expand. Magenta was the safe one, and kept attacks at bay, though a juggernaut and backstabbing could save Team Blue the day.
I disagree. Bricks that have been laid have been laid. And especially with the shields, it isnt as detrimental that the game encourages risky situations this way, by having smaller bricks closeby.
Honestly as the game reaches mid late, brick hp becomes redundant, as all the marbles generally average hundreds to thousands of power and each team has so many marbles that the rapid fire basically counters brick hp on its own. By this point the board usually has 7-8+ hp bricks which for early game would be extremely powerful (4-5hp bricks is already strong defense early game which one or two colors tend to gain quickly)
The color i rooted for got wiped, but the color i guessed would win won. Lol This was a fun one, suggestion for a future variant. Chaos mode, maybe a shorter battle but the colors ramp up in power quickly, would be funny to see someone fire off a shot covering like 1/4 the map xD
I like how the winner color got the defense while going for multiplier then 1+marble spam in the end so it can get multiple marble for shields or big marbles for everything
Suggestion: change add to burst shot and +1 to add to +1 to burst for max chaos ;) Burst is unlocked after 300 seconds and starts at 10. Also I'd increase the angle covered by the cannon by 15° in each direction, as of now it's a little hard to defend the blind zone with a direct shot
Yea I think you're right, it's time to put burst back in. I just need to tweak the ball sizes a bit; previously if a burst of 20-mass balls would cause quite the traffic jam.
Blue: oh... don't worry about me, i'm just gettig shilds to not get killed *2 minutes later* Blue: TO THEN GET EVERY OTHER UPGRADE AND THEN GROW A CHARGE OF 1863612!!!
For me : multiply (nothing can beat exponential upgrade)>>hp (for me hp is better for early game)>=marble>starting>=add. And sheild idk >> is way better, > is better and >= is a bit better or maybe equal
Cool upgrade idea: Explode. It’s an upgrade that makes a mini explosion that has the color of who activated it. It’s wherever their mass ends and the explosion will let them gain more. (30 blocks)
I think the only viable option later on is multiply (blues is x3,4) and the 20something marbles at the end just destroy yellow and magenta later (blue at the end got ham with the multiply (got to a point the thing got to 2milion)) and blowed magenta up
The add upgrade is by far the most useless one. If the add was bigger (2 or 3 times more, so starts at 2/3 and the upgrade adds +2/+3) it could be interesting but now its not
14:30 why is this blue ball losing so much so fast? It starts off almost entirely in blue - it shouldn't be losing 300-400 value before it leaves its own quadrant.
Is there somewhere to download this particular scene? I love watching stuff like this kinda wanna run my own testing with it to see if there's any patterns to which color wins or it it's totally random each time
This exact one, unfortunately not. In the past my workflow involved "building" the game from Unity and recording it separately using OBS, but since discovering that Unity has a built-in recorder I've been using that to record videos, most of which are the same scene just with improvements made all the time. If you are referring to the setup itself ("multiply or release"), I do have plans to eventually make downloadable versions available, not sure when though.
For balance, to keep it interesting. Otherwise it's very easy for a player to just get a massive ball and other players have almost no chance of winning.
Thats an intentional mechanic to reduce the power of super shots during mid and late game. Whats actually happening is those massive shots lose like 0.1% mass over time, regardless of them being in their own color or destroying enemy color. It ensures those shots dont immediately control the board, especially mid game. Late game though there are mega shots reaching into the millions so the effect is virtually non existant
I have the mechanic on in some videos and off in others. When the numbers get really crazy it helps to keep such a ball from just automatically winning the game, so that other players still have a small chance to win.

nice one there
It's ironic that the bullet which actually destroyed magenta just had about 50 points
Spoiler warning dude
Sniper round 🤣
It had 26.
Very lucky for the marble: It got to do something
lol
That second half of the battle was quite epic lol
Still think that upgrading brick hp should affect every brick of that colour not just the new ones

THIS should be a classic MoR mode, love the upgrades maling like a rpg

why do balls lose power in their own color?
2 million blue!
why do balls over 100 lose 1% of their points every second?
For balance, to keep it interesting. Otherwise it's very easy for a player to just get a massive ball and other players have almost no chance of winning.
Shots should not lose value when going over their own color!

Would it be possible to use triangle numbers or similar, so that marbles don't get exponentially big to begin with.

Почему цифры уменьшаются даже когда шарик летит по своей территории?
It's draining a small percentage of mass every second, so that very large balls only have a limited time to be effective
