I have missed my mom. She passed away on 01 June 2023. I was 8 years old when this video was taken, and sure enough, my mom and I were also there in the Glorietta Activity Center. We spent the afternoons there bringing with us Piattos because fast food was too expensive for us while waiting for my father to come home from work. Thank you for all the fun memories, Nay. Thank you for molding me into what I am now: a successful architect. Thank you for pushing me beyond the apparent limits that granted me scholarships here and there. I know you are proud of me. Please continue to push and guide me as you wait for us there in heaven.
Condolence Architect... Your nanay must be so proud of you...

I'm lucky enough ma experience this kasama mama ko working that time along Ayala Ave. fast forward 2023, ako naman yung gumagala sa Ayala para magwork. Then mama ko naman nasa bahay. Thank you for posting this. Nakakaoverwhelm yung maalala mo yung nakaraan na simple pa talaga buhay ng tao noon. :( Thank you Sir.
Everybody wanted to experience and live in Manila back then. But now I’d rather live and stay in the peace and calmness the province has to offer.
Korek. Anything that from Manila is something you look forward too - Fruits, damit, etc. Feeling mo galing abroad ang mga items. Sarap ng feeling kung makatanggap ka. Unlike nowadays pang pochu-pochu n lang.
So true, once na experience mo na ang totoong Manila, it's all smoke and mirrors. Nothing beats the peace of mind and quality of life you get in living in the province at a lower cost.

Thanks for this video it brought back a lot of memories, I remember that shooting fountain, used to watch it everytime we go there. And I always have lunch at Wendy's who would forget that humongous salad bar at the middle eat all you can!!

This is the Glorietta i used to know year 1995 i just turned 5 on this year.. i still remember the waterfalls vividly and the mini playground inside glorietta we would be there every sat and sun i miss those days.. it makes me think of my papa my fond memories of him he sadly passed a way few months ago

Recall those years with my Papa, after his shift at Villamor, we always sneak a peak at the wonders of this wonderful mall, not to forget Wendy's the original near TOPPINGS restaurant. Ayala Center Makati has this all time season for everyone, since they are also one of the first malls constructed back early 1990s, excluding Alabang Town Center. Plenty of people, crowded, no camera that is sneaking somebody else's video, everything picture and picturesque as male and female citizens are well mannered and full of CLOTHING, men knows sewing machines and women knows drafting of clothes and designs, for men are tailors while women are modistas. This is remarkable Philippines.

2 years old palang ako nung October 1995 pero when I'm 4 or 5, nung nagkaisip na, ganitong ganito ang itsura ng Glorietta!!!! Nostalgia super. If I am given a chance na bumalik sa nakaraan, pipiliin ko ang 90's.
This was the peak of every 90's kids' childhood. Dito kami nanonood plage ng sine nung bata ako. Alladin, hook, lion king atbp, jan sa glorietta namin pinanood lahat during that time. Kaya for sure, ung mga bata dito s video is around my age din.
That time i was still working at Hotel Inter-Continental - Makati and studying at the same time at College of Saint Benilde. 2000 when I graduated. Feeling nostalgic now 😔. Thanks for uploading this video,it brings back good old days.
1995..grade 5 po ako nyan and buhay pa tatay ko. How i miss him so much. Siya yung "fun parent" kesa kay nanay. Lagi nyang gusto kami ipasyal sa sm noon pagka-weekends or sa luneta sabado or linggo ng umaga. Doon kami nagpipicnic. Tatay i miss you so much ❤️
Thanks for uploading this! Hahaha i miss it! BATANG 90’s!!!!!!
Tnx for uploading sir 😁❤️
Acient vlogging nice video sir...it bringa back lots of memory grabe nakakaiyak sarap maging bata uli...kung mabibili lang ang pagbalik sa mga panahong yan pagiipunan ko....
Yung Fountain ng Glorietta is the Most Spectacular thing during my Childhood days. and sa mga Recent Ayala Malls Nawala na yung Grand Fountains nila sa Loob also Greenhills too. Actually Sta. Lucia Still has the Grand Fountain Inside a Mall
Thank you so much for uploading this! I feel like this was something my dad would have done since he loved filming and taking pictures. Going to the mall in the Philippines was definitely one of our favorite past times, especially on the weekends/after church. This took me back to my childhood.
I was a 16 year old teen and a senior (4th year) high school student during this time(1995), into comic books, rock music (this was the part of the decade when the rock music rave scene (both local and foreign) was at its peak here in the Philippines) and video / computer games and i still somewhat do (ha ha ha ayaw tumanda eh), this video footage has ignited a feeling of nostalgia again to me that makes me wish sometimes that someone should come up with a time machine so.i can go back to that time period to experience and relieve all of these joyful wonderful things again even only for a day ha ha ha, kudos for you sir for having managed to successfully preserved / archived this video footage of that wonderful time and that of a wonderful place (Makati), keep it up sir🤗✌
I am so happy and glad that I lived as a kid during the 90s. Nothing but fun memories with my family and friends right before everyone was consumed by gadget screens and the internet.
I was 18 back then. Nakakatuwa basahin lahat ng comments niyo. Lahat tayo may Memories diyan... madalas ako diyan around 1998 to 2001. Pero baka makapunta na din ako in 95. Hayysss simpleng buhay, simple hapiness. Kung maibabalik mo lang talaga.... please Bring me back hahaha. Until now, dumadaan pa din ako diyan. Thanks to Ayala. They kept the old facade. Yung half lang na sumabog ang naiba... Dami kwento. Kakatuwa. I hope i have more tome to read your stories.
Siguro Sir yung maliliit na bata jan na kasama nyo sa video mga pamilyado na rin ngayon, I was 6 years old that time, ngayon malapit na mag 33 may asawa't anak na din... kakamis talaga nung 90's🤗
Nakakatuwa naman makakita ng ganitong video. I was 3 years old this time at kung babalikan mo ganitong ganito ung mga set up dati. Feels nostalgic.
This is our go-to mall when we were kids kasi dati eto lang yung pinakamalapit na mall samin. 😍💙
Kakatuwa to ang sarap siguro sa time na to, kakapanganak palang sakin that time I was born August 1995, imagine 2 months palang ako nung mga panahon na to.
This is so true. Ito yung panahon na hahanap hanap mo yung real life interaction with people and it excites you the most, lalo na pag gigimik or aalis ng bahay for family day.
Sobra solid mga videos mo bro from 90s. 🥲🥲🥲

Thank you for sharing your family's home video!...and for focusing on the tower where I worked until a month before this video was taken! By then I was in Indonesia and friends were inside it! Awesome blast from the past to show our children
Great that you still have these footages! also those prices lol some will say "ang mura ng presyo noon" but if you will calculate it for example big bacon classic is 49.95, that would be about 180 in todays money.
Aaaah this instantly puts a smile on my face and transports me to being a kid again! 😻 Used to go to Quad/Glorietta A LOT in the 90s since sa Pasay lang kami nakatira. One of my earliest memories there was going to the movies with my cousins to watch the live-action of Casper and everyone went feral when he transformed to Devon Sawa sksksks! One of my cousins also celebrated his birthday in Glico’s noon and his parents actually rented the entire place for a day just to ourselves, sobra kaming nag-enjoy lahat! 🎉 Laman din ako ng Activity Center during the 00s back when cosplaying and anime conventions were just starting out. Anyway thanks for all the nostalgia you rock! 🫶
suoer fun to watch this. tumatak sakin nung 90s, pag Ber months, super lamig sa umaga, like yung mga cooking oil sa bote, nagiging literal na solid. kelangan pa sila ilapit sa apoy para magamit. pero ngayon wla na, baka sa baguio nalang or sagada nangyayari yon. lol
In 1995, Glorietta was known then as Quad 1, 2, 3 & 4. It was only in 2000s when Quad was renamed Glorietta. My favorite hangout pag suspended ang classes.
Back in time , People are amazed of seeing tall buildings , monuments. Having a family time without gadgets interrupting the kids' attention. Now, We're all living in 2021's stressful days 😭
I was 10 years old then in 1995. Also lagi kami nasa Glico's. Kaway-kaway sa mga nakaalala nun. Memories
Many buildings were Built that time as the Philippines experienced economic growth in the 90s as the country was targeting its Newly Industrialized status to be achieved in year 2000 until the Asian Financial Crisis entered the scene.
Seeing the kids carried by their parents in the earlier part of the video, I'm sensing they're 29 or probably in their 30's like me. I was only 3 back in 1995. Nakakamiss din.
this hits hard in the feels at 2AM! i just entered college in 1995! my memories maybe getting hazy these days, but this is the Glorietta that I can vividly remember! what an ultimate time travel! cheers! EDIT: napa-subscribe agad ako sa channel mo! hope you have more 90s vids. nakaka-miss!

This is nice. Thanks for uploading such a vid. I was born in 2000s and can still remember Park Square and the Wendy's there (including their yellow and styrofoam food packaging) and what Glorietta 1 especially the activity center looks like. This is what vlogging in the 90s looks like
My job around this time was Copywriting at a design studio located in the Madrigal Building along Ayala. It would be my first copywriting job in a long history of copywriting positions within the advertising industry.
Brings back memories, naalala ko nanood kami ng jumanji that year sa glorietta. I was 11 back then.
Thanks for posting this. I miss the old times, away from our phone and laptop screens. Daming anxiety lately sa mga tao, conscious about being watched, all because of technology. People are just being their natural selves here, enjoying the scene. Kamamiss ganitong life.

Ako 2 years after bago ipanganak. 🤣
This was the peak of every 90's kids' childhood. Dito kami nanonood plage ng sine nung bata ako. Alladin, hook, lion king atbp, jan sa glorietta namin pinanood lahat during that time. Kaya for sure, ung mga bata dito s video is around my age din.
Sarap balikan, SOLID ‘TO. Mas simpleng buhay, mas masaya. 😊
Good thing na preserved nyo ang video na ito at naiupload on youtube! Nakakamangha! :)
One word to describe - "GOLD" 💛
Hahaha glicos nakaka miss sobra
Tnx for uploading sir 😁❤️
Thank you for watching! Yeah masaya during the 90s kasi wala masyado gadgets at pure interaction with people din most of the time.
Acient vlogging nice video sir...it bringa back lots of memory grabe nakakaiyak sarap maging bata uli...kung mabibili lang ang pagbalik sa mga panahong yan pagiipunan ko....
I was born in 95 and this is truly heartwarming! I'm like 20 days old during the recording of these clips LOL
noiceee!
Yung Fountain ng Glorietta is the Most Spectacular thing during my Childhood days.
and sa mga Recent Ayala Malls Nawala na yung Grand Fountains nila sa Loob also Greenhills too.
Actually Sta. Lucia Still has the Grand Fountain Inside a Mall
gumana balik na Mall of Asia o Filinvest, ngayon present-
Thank you so much for uploading this! I feel like this was something my dad would have done since he loved filming and taking pictures. Going to the mall in the Philippines was definitely one of our favorite past times, especially on the weekends/after church. This took me back to my childhood.
Agree! Thank you for watching!
Thank you! This year and during the 90s have a lot of very memorable experience also for me as a kid :)
Sir, you invented "vlogging" before it was even famous 😌
Hahaha! 😁
Ahead of your time sir
No, I think the video that I've watched from 1986.
only few people owns a camera back then
@@vernonh194its still QUAD cinema in 1986, glorietta was made in the 90s
Everyone wore decent clothes back then, I love it!
INDEEEEEDDDD!
Paolo Bediones or you like the face of Eddie Garcia.
It was a much more conservative era! Heck, the Church held far more sway in society back then than they do nowadays...
Yep especially superficiality takes over in the present.🤦♀️
You said it!
I am so happy and glad that I lived as a kid during the 90s. Nothing but fun memories with my family and friends right before everyone was consumed by gadget screens and the internet.
Agree!
Siguro Sir yung maliliit na bata jan na kasama nyo sa video mga pamilyado na rin ngayon, I was 6 years old that time, ngayon malapit na mag 33 may asawa't anak na din... kakamis talaga nung 90's🤗
bring back my child hood days... 90s is awesome.... no gadgets no social media life is so simple back then....
Thanks for sharing and watching po!
Nostalgic moments suddenly appeared on my mind as I watch every scene in this video. Thanks for uploading.
Batang 90s aq at 33 nako ngaun 😅
Sobra solid mga videos mo bro from 90s. 🥲🥲🥲
Thank you for watching din po!
grabe ang malling culture in the 90s. I wish I could go back in time..

PLEASE SIR ACCEPT MY GRATITUDE for reminding me of these old days salamat po for preserving these memories!!

@@inseinworld san po kayo nanggaling sa video? Oh my yung mga taxi na FX hahahahaha!!!
If I’m not mistaken you’re using a Tamaraw FX. That was my dream car before. My current car now is Kia Soul.
Yes it was
do you like a Luxury Car, Police Car🚓 or Batmobile.🦇
Thank you for sharing your family's home video!...and for focusing on the tower where I worked until a month before this video was taken! By then I was in Indonesia and friends were inside it! Awesome blast from the past to show our children
Great that you still have these footages! also those prices lol some will say "ang mura ng presyo noon" but if you will calculate it for example big bacon classic is 49.95, that would be about 180 in todays money.
Thank you!

Aah the good days, I remember Glorrietta as it was then.
Thank you for sharing
Woww! Thanks for sharing this very nostalgic moment for a 90s kid to us! 😍🤩
suoer fun to watch this. tumatak sakin nung 90s, pag Ber months, super lamig sa umaga, like yung mga cooking oil sa bote, nagiging literal na solid. kelangan pa sila ilapit sa apoy para magamit. pero ngayon wla na, baka sa baguio nalang or sagada nangyayari yon. lol
Thanks for watching po!
Truly a treasure capturing the best of time in the 90s! 🔥❤️
Thank you for this. I was 13 in October 1995. Makati will always be my favourite place for family time
Yung Mcdo, nasa same pwesto pa rin hanggang ngayon :)
Jollibee o Wendy's
For sure some of the people in this footage wala na ngayon. Grabeee this is great ha.

In 1995, Glorietta was known then as Quad 1, 2, 3 & 4. It was only in 2000s when Quad was renamed Glorietta.
My favorite hangout pag suspended ang classes.
Thank you for bringing us back in time.
Back in time , People are amazed of seeing tall buildings , monuments. Having a family time without gadgets interrupting the kids' attention.
Now, We're all living in 2021's stressful days 😭
Stressful lang kasi adult ka na rin. I'm sure stressful din maging adult nung panahon na yun.
@@filledvoid I agree.
Nakakamiss din.
more of these 90s vids please
i still have some few. soon to be uploaded
Please do!!!! 😢😢
I was 20 days old 😐

This was so nice! Imagine, people get to enjoy just watching water fountains no matter how simple back then!
So true!
Thank you for this! I am writing a story set in the 90s with a major event that happened inside a shopping mall and this helps a lot.

True!! Relate so much!
Back then where there was still a salad bar at Wendy's. 😍
This is nice. Thanks for uploading such a vid. I was born in 2000s and can still remember Park Square and the Wendy's there (including their yellow and styrofoam food packaging) and what Glorietta 1 especially the activity center looks like. This is what vlogging in the 90s looks like
TH-cam is the closest thing to a travel back in time😂😂😂😂😂
Wow I was only 2 yrs old that time. Amazingggg. Thank you for bringing us back to 1995!!!
You're welcome po!
Grabeh swerte pa tayong early millenials naranasan pa natin to.
My job around this time was Copywriting at a design studio located in the Madrigal Building along Ayala. It would be my first copywriting job in a long history of copywriting positions within the advertising industry.
These kids probably got their own kids by now.

if i have the ability to turnback time maybe i can save my father from a certain disease so that we can be complete again
I hope there is time machine..
Thanks for posting this. I miss the old times, away from our phone and laptop screens. Daming anxiety lately sa mga tao, conscious about being watched, all because of technology. People are just being their natural selves here, enjoying the scene. Kamamiss ganitong life.
So true! nakakamiss tlga. minsan marerealize mo sa gatherings ngayun puro cellphone and admittedly, nahahawa din tau kahit ayaw natin gawin
