Motolegends winter motorcycle gloves review

  • In this video, Sean and Chris shared their views on some of their favourite, and not so favourite, gloves for the winter. You might be a little surprised by their findings. We don't want to give it all away, but they both came to the conclusion that the warmest glove for winter riding comes from Richa, and costs less than £100. But, if you've got a spare 10 minutes or so, you should definitely find the time to watch the review, because all the gloves they've chosen are good gloves. But the glove you choose may well depend on what you ride and what you wear.

GENTS! Say AND PRINT the brand and models of the gloves please. I'd like to shop for a few of these but it's tough when I have to keep rewinding to hear what you said.

Those eska pilot gloves look fantastic and would go nicely with my Rukka Nivala jacket. Keep up the great work Motolegends team!!

A really useful comparison, thanks. I agree heated is the way to go for long lasting comfort. I'll look at the heated inners and a slightly larger pair of moderately padded gloves, as not been impressed with the construction of the Keis or Gerbing heated gloves.

For all winter warmth and water protection you can't beat a set of bar muffs. Inexpensive and do the job.

    Great reviews, as always.
One observation regarding "lobster claw" mittens: they are definitely warmer than gloves, but if you don't use two fingers they are a problem. For instance, if you brake with one finger, or clutch with three fingers, the lobster claws won't accommodate that. Worth bearing in mind when thinking about purchasing them.

Do you have a bonded gortex shell glove with no insulation that would work with your warm and safe heated gloves,so no bulk but warm and waterproof ?.great channel 👍

This is a great start in understanding the incredibly complicated world or motorcycle gloves. Firstly, thank you. I'm using Richa Cold Protect in winter, and although they're warm and nominally waterproof, they wet out badly.
Can I get a similar glove that doesn't wet out? I'd prefer textile as leather takes days to dry, even with a laminated membrane.
So, warm, ideally Outlast, textile, laminated. Doesn't wet out. Does such a thing exist?
I find it incredibly hard to figure out which gloves are drop liner and which are laminated. You don't even make it terribly clear for these ones.

If you have textile gloves, you can treat them with Fabsil Gold to prevent them from wetting out.
For any leather gear, DucksWax improves the water repellency.

Halvarssons Primus mittens aren't available anymore? Do like the Eska pilots with the Warm & safe liners though.

OK you may have just disqualified yourselves from giving advice about gloves! The dual compartment gloves are generally a waterproof membrane. If you don't know that you have not spent much time investigating gloves.

    Ok
What’s the best winter glove for a cold hand rider that doesn’t want the liner to pull out when you take your gloves off and could have a wiper

Looking for a pair of winter gloves which will fit underneath my richa infinity pro2 jacket. I need something fully waterproof.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people don't "tuck in" and are then most surprised that their gloves "aren't waterproof". Come on guys, tuck in! This suggestion only applies to your gloves into your jacket sleeves, not your vest into your underpants a la John Major, do this and you're uncool...

I don't really get glove reviews that are just selling and not testing, you have a shop so I'm sure you're slightly biased towards certain models you stock but we want to know which ones work, not what features they have, we can get all that information from various websites selling their products... Sorry, I'm being critical, i know, but I'm trying to find a decent pair of gloves that are warm and have the right protection too, if they're warm and they don't have the correct protection, such as knuckle protection, wrist protection, etc then i don't seem the point because although you'll be warm you'll trash your knuckles if you come off, and you'll come off in the winter for sure, it's conditions like that that hurt when you fall..

People research winter riding gloves because " OUR FINGERS GET REAL COLD! TO THE POINT WHERE IT HURTS!" We don't care about the visor wipes or any other things that don't contribute to warming our frozen fingers!!

They did it again and again and again.... giving "review" about the glove without any close up of the glove. Please don't answer why do you do it that way
