Hi , that is the connector for the USB adaptor . When you get a new bike , it comes with a USB adaptor for power for your smartphone or GPS. A bit like the cigarette lighter in your car where you can insert a USB adaptor for power... That all, so you can stick your smartphone or GPS onto the steeringhandle and get power for it through that connector

Thank you for the informative videos on Brixton motorcycles. Where I live, I do not have a registered Brixton service centre and the local mechanics do not prefer to work on ''chinese'' bikes. I would be grateful if you could point me to the probable causes of issues. :) Lately, I feel the bike vibrates a lot even after an oil change. Winter or summer, I always wait untill the bike warms up (until it reaches idling). I was thinking of replacing the spark plug? What do you suggest? or could it be totally something else. Secondly, I hear lose metalic parts vibrating sound on the left part of the engine. I am guessing near the gearbox. I opened and retightened the output gear and the cover. But the sound still persists. what could be the possible reason? Thanking you in advance. :)
Thank you for all the information you offer in this video. I have a BX 125 with no signal or possibly power reaching the injectors. The fuel pump is working and if I power the injectors manually I get a fine mist as expected. The bike has also started occasionally when performing the ECU reset (5 off and on switches at about half second intervals) I have tested with a replacement ECU but still have the same issue, a friend suggested the relay could be faulty but if this is the case I can't see how the fuel pump would prime as the circuit diagram for the BX shows that they both share the same relay... I am at a loss... If anyone has any advice on this it would be most welcome!
there are 2 relays under the seat, and one of them might be the problem, But yours could also be a cable problem if not the the sockets themselves. I use the bx 150 looks the same and works the same. I replaced both the relays under the seat and it works again. But do so only after you have checked the continuity of the cables to know if you have a faulty cable first.

Hanks Dinelli hi hanks and txs. . Indeed performance is not the best of these bikes. Its ok but i believe that changing the fuelmap might improve the power. I think that they are tuned towards a balance between power and environmental conditions. I am working on a method to read the fuelmap of the Ecu and possible modifying the fuelmap on the Delci ecu. So far i have not seen any products on the market. That is why i am trying some reverse engineering. We will see how far i will get

Nice vids, pleasant accent you have. I'm thinking about getting a bike like this, but I would split the exhaust in two and have a muffler on either side. Crazy but I have this thing in me that won't let me drive a bike with an exhaust on one side. The split would be after the probe of course. Do you think it would upset the tuning? Or will the system automatically adjust fuel/air? - Thanks!
If you split the tube after the Lambda sensor and you do not alter the angle of the sensor, then I see no issue and don't expect any different behaviour.... show s us when you did it ,,, Good luck.

I have them with me all the time, as I have not found a proper place to keep them. You could create a pocket under the saddle, but then you will have to remove the sadle each time you need them. But then again, its only two little bolds.

Hi, do you mean the little engine light ? That means that the ECU has logged a fault. Best is to read out the codes as shown in one of my video's. It should not be turned on... but its not always a very seriuos problem. If a sensor reported once faulty it will be logged and the light will turn on....Untill its reset
My brixton cafe racer 150 is not going well. I dint know what the problems with my brixton. When i gear i shift the gear down my motorcycle had a free gear and need to push the starter again
What do you mean it wont start ? Make sure that you have the pivot point ( the leg/bar ) where the bike stands on is not out but moved upwards. There is a switch that will prevent you from starting when the rest point is out. A common mistake when you get de bike. Nothing wrong. If that is not the case: then please describe me the problem, does the engine rotate, can you hear the starter turning, when turning on the ignition key do you see the RPM meter swing out and back, is the little engine light on when the ignition is on ?
D3Sshooter when i check my battery its already dead. Then i change with a new one and now its work. I just scared that my “stator” is the main problem maybe it wont charge my battery. 2. My fuel pump is making some noise, like whistling. Is that normal? Thank you for you response sir!!
@@nadzmimohamed417 , my pleasure... .. It could be the stator , although that is unlikely . It might be the rectifier (just under-need the fuel tank in the front) . Let the bike run and measure the voltage across the battery.. that should be more then 12 Volts. If its just 12V or below... turn on the head lights and see if drops.. It should not... in fact a working stator and rectifier should charge at about 13.5 to 14V.. The fuelpump, well that is most likely air that is trapped.... are you sure you are not using the wrong fuel ( no methanol ) ?. If you use fuel with lots of methanol then its not going to last very long....as plastics etc will be affected including the pomp.
Hello :) I'v been watching your videos and they are very helpful. Thank you for that ! I have a little problem with my Cromwell 125 so i was wondering can you help ? Motor is running flawlessly when i full throttle it, but when i want to cruze at lower speeds around 5-6 rpm, with half throttle, engine begins to stutter, like it has no power. I went to dealer and they said it is normal that it's because of manual cable throttle. Then i put some carburator cleaner n tank, and it made no diference. Then i replaced sparkplug and put NGK DR8EA, and motor was running like a charm. Sadly problem was back after 2 weeks. Could this be something with unstable woltage or ecu maybe? Maybe i'm wrong but i get the feeling that's not normal. Motor have 5000 km, maybe i need to ride it more :) Thx
hi.. my brix suddenly stop while riding. i'm not sure why, already change the plug coil cable and the spark plug but still happen. when it happen, i can't start it. after unplug the spark plug head and plug it back and switch on, i can start it. but will happen back. thanks in advance.
Hi, Is the malfunction light on ? That is the little engine sign on the dashboard. If that is on you should read-out the error codes from the ECU. I have a video on it , and then replace what needs to be replaced. But if you can't read codes, lets try this: One the bike fails, disconnect the sparkplug connector from the sparkplug and insert a new sparkplug into the sparkplug connector. Then hold the sparkplug against the metal block of the engine ( not the painted area but a bear metal bolt or so). Start the engine ( it will not run) and check if you see the spark on the sparkplug. Be carefull for chocks. If it sparks , then the issue is not the ignition but maybe the inject or any other sensor that shutdown. If it does not spark, then you might have a problem with the cranckshaft position sensor and or TDC sensor. If they read the wrong position or provid ethe wrong signal then the ignition will fire at the wrong time ( infact even with a spark in the test , that is still a possibility). Check also the ignition coil itself at the front of the bike and see if its not cracked or any cables that might be damaged... Does this happen when the engine is warm ?
@@D3Sshooter My BX125 started to have this problem as well. It will only stall when the engine is warm, after 20-30 minutes of riding, up until then it runs fine. When it stalls it behaves as if there are gaps in the fuel delivery and it bogs down. It usually happens when i'm at a stoplight and i give it gas to start moving but it also happens while riding. Changed the sparkplug, tighten up the wiring to the coil, no dice. What should i check next? Thanks a lot! BTW: your videos on the Brixton are better than the service manual KS Motor puts out!
@@fernandorodrigues4932 I've narrowed it down to the lambda sonde (O2 sensor on the exhaust). Will try to replace it and see if there's any improvement. I believe you could also disconnect it which will force the ECU to run rich all the time. Probably not the best choice to ride like that but maybe worth it just to isolate the lambda sonde as the root cause.
Alright, so i disconnected the lambda sonde altogether and went for a ride. The bike lost about 4 horses out of the 10 it usually has, this is expected, most probably running o a "safe" fuel map since there's no oxygen input to the ECU. The good news is that the engine didn't stall. I'll replace the lambda sonde and see if that fixes it, will report back.

First streamline the throttle, after reduce valves diameters and round the edges. Only after You can play on the fuel colder spark plug .cheers

The brixton’s are actually made or china? Is the engine a clone from a Japanese manufacturer?

If they read the wrong position or provid ethe wrong signal then the ignition will fire at the wrong time ( infact even with a spark in the test , that is still a possibility). Check also the ignition coil itself at the front of the bike and see if its not cracked or any cables that might be damaged... Does this happen when the engine is warm ?
@@D3Sshooter My BX125 started to have this problem as well. It will only stall when the engine is warm, after 20-30 minutes of riding, up until then it runs fine. When it stalls it behaves as if there are gaps in the fuel delivery and it bogs down. It usually happens when i'm at a stoplight and i give it gas to start moving but it also happens while riding. Changed the sparkplug, tighten up the wiring to the coil, no dice. What should i check next? Thanks a lot! BTW: your videos on the Brixton are better than the service manual KS Motor puts out!

@@fernandorodrigues4932 I've narrowed it down to the lambda sonde (O2 sensor on the exhaust). Will try to replace it and see if there's any improvement. I believe you could also disconnect it which will force the ECU to run rich all the time. Probably not the best choice to ride like that but maybe worth it just to isolate the lambda sonde as the root cause.
Alright, so i disconnected the lambda sonde altogether and went for a ride. The bike lost about 4 horses out of the 10 it usually has, this is expected, most probably running o a "safe" fuel map since there's no oxygen input to the ECU. The good news is that the engine didn't stall. I'll replace the lambda sonde and see if that fixes it, will report back.
