  • Now that we've finished pre-service training, I wanted to get a snapshot of what myself and some of the other volunteers are thinking. I hope this proves helpful for incoming and aspiring volunteers!
This video contains my personal opinion and does not reflect the opinions of Peace Corps, the United States Government, the people of The Gambia, or the government of The Gambia. Thank you to The Gambia and its people for their hospitality.
This video is inspired by Peace Corps' Third Goal about strengthening Americans' understanding about the world and its peoples.

Hi Campbell! I also did a vlog during my service in The Gambia (2018-2020). I love your inclusion of the short interviews of other PCVs. Its a nice simple way to broaden the perspective, and I'll look forward to possibly seeing perspectives of your counterparts as well down the line as well.
Also, if you'd ever like to reach out, I'm happy to oblige!

I’ve watched all your videos so far and I really enjoy them, you have a great speaking voice. I’m an invitee, leaving in October for Cameroon. Just waiting on legal clearance but should be any day now. I appreciate the advice, will bring lots of pepto bismal

Love that the 2nd most prominent theme is food and stomach problems LMAO
Also, yeah I'd say you're like 87% there with American humor. Sometimes it made me want to not exist for a few moments but that's a marker of good humor right? Or something haha
