These remind me allot of a fancier versions of Nicks boots called "the urban logger" except this pair actually looks like it would be comfortable to wear in an urban situation haha. You brought those uppers right back around from the dead, excellent work maestro.
This is how they SHOULD come from the factory!!! Absolutely fantastic my man. And the uppers look BETTER than new. Beautiful job sir. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
I love what you did to that pair of boots. You're an amazing craftsman. Too bad I'm not close to you otherwise I will have you resole my boots and shoes.
Another Great Video. Love the New Sole with the Storm Welt and Leather Midsole. The Screws you added I never saw that before. I think you first used Black Rock Leather Conditioner first. I have used it before also with Nice Results. Those Boots were very dry. Thank You for Posting this Great Video.

That's a beautiful transformation! How much does something like that run with adding a leather midsole and new welt. I'd think I'd like to try the honey Vibram but basically the same setup as this...
hi my friend how are you. wow another beautiful job on the 8085’s. you made those as tough as can be. i am really amazed how nice you brought the upper’s back to new again. FYI when i have you do my iron rangers i’m with the V-bar sole with a hi heel if that work. my now i trying to deside which one i’m thinking maybe my 8083’s. thank you my friend. until next ---Kevin
I’m really enjoying watching your skill and application in action . Pride you take is infectious and standard is clearly high . You should be proud of yourself sir . Also , love the old machinery . Keep up the great work
I had the 8085's. Nice boots, the factory soles were dangerous in any type of snow or slush, would slip all over the place. Bought a pair of Origins, very happy with them. Nice job, always a treat to watch a craftsman aply his trade. You made those boots in to a totally different grade of boot.
I love your videos and your positive attitude. I really like that you speak in English and then Spanish. I am trying to get better at my spanish in the way that native speakers say things. Hearing how you naturally say things in English and then in Spanish is super helpful.
Nice job, but compare to the original sole this new sole makes the Iron Ranger less flexible. I prefer the original lug sole, very strong and multi purpose.
These came out excellent. RW would do well I'd think to offer a more ruged soled IR. Basically like the Moc toe Rough neck or Sawmill. Could see doing this to a pair of my IR's one day.
They always save the best ideas like yours for one offs and company collabs unfortunately. They made a brooks brothers collab iron ranger with a lug sole and also a round toe rough neck model # 2947. Both hard to come by.
Oh wow. One of the few cobblers I’ve seen hand stitch the welt by hand. 👍🏼 I enjoy watching a craftsman that loves his work.
🙏

Who the hell would where an Urban Logger on the town? That'd be overdoing it a bit, eh? My black Rangers on the other hand...😎
@@matttherrien9608 Lumbersexuals, lol...just remembered that term earlier today. Black Rangers look boss!
@@InGrindWeCrust2010 my first Red Wings. But hopefully not my last. Once you feel a quality boot you understand.

All the high end boot manufacturers use screws for their chunky rubber soles. Nick's, Frank's, etc.

You turned those into straight-up sh*tkickers. The look of that stitched brown welt might be the most impressive part!

Wow, brother!! Se miran bien macizas y chulas a la misma vez! Eres un verdadero artista. Good job, young man.
Gracias Miguel!
Credit where it's due - they look great
Great job !! Really like the ruggedness with the the screws. Have you done a pair of iron ranger into a more casual/dressy look before?
I’ve done Mocs
I really like this transformation. How much did it cost?
Nice job, but compare to the original sole this new sole makes the Iron Ranger less flexible. I prefer the original lug sole, very strong and multi purpose.
love your videos! what conditioner/wax did you use on the uppers after cleaning them?
Cadillac leather conditioner is what use 99% of the times
Thanks!

Amazing transformation, Aaron!!! What model Vibram sole is that? I think I want that same sole for my next set of Red Wings I will be sending to you.
It is the vibram 100 combo
Thanks!
That’s a thirsty looking boot 🤣
Very nice
i like the haircut dog it’s fresh
Well done. Once my IR mini slugs are gone. I’m doing this.
Are those Montagna soles ?
They’re Vibram (100)
