Yeah I just conditioned mine with neats foot oil, it darkened quite a bit, I’m headed to a cold wet environment soon so wanted to ensure they were more water resistant. Hoping the color comes back with time.
@@stevel2064 Neatsfoot oil blend creme is ok for conditioning 8085. Color will come back with time if you don’t brush them too much. Often brushing will make them even more darker.

Hey man hold on as long as you can before you add conditioner or oil. I regret doing so little by little they changed color. These are super slick

@@mmmarac I used the actual oil, not the cream. Same effect?
@@stevel2064 Oils darken the leather. You can always clean them with saddle soap, let them dry and start again conditioning the leather
