While he certainly had a lot to do with the election of Obama, after Obama was installed he then went on to partner with Travis Kalanick at Uber in a role of attempting to influence policy to benefit Uber. This was around the time when Kalanick was forced out of Uber for both flagrant law violations, and creating/promulgating the prototypical "bro" culture. Presumably Mr. Plouffe did well on his Uber shares. Interesting that Plouffe is back. While he certainly had a lot to do with the election of Obama, after Obama was installed he then went on to partner with Travis Kalanick at Uber in a role of attempting to influence policy to benefit Uber. This was around the time when Kalanick was forced out of Uber for both flagrant law violations, and creating/promulgating the prototypical "bro" culture. Presumably Mr. Plouffe did well on his Uber shares.
While I wonder if the Harris campaign should have hired this guy, there seems little question that if he was able to sell the country on Obama, he can only do better with Harris....a far stronger candidate who will be a far better president.

I really dislike this host. It has been less than 2 weeks. Harris has had hundreds of decisions to make, has done a bunch of rallies, has a convention coming up. Extended interviews can wait until the campaign is properly established. This host seems to badger her guests a lot.
