    I just wanted to say that I love all of your videos and have learned so much from them. I made two of the ornaments that you taught and then made one to resemble an ornament that belonged to my grandmother, so from over 100 years ago. Thank you and please continue the lessons, I love them. I was going to send a pic but couldn’t find away to do it on this site.

      That's wonderful! I designed these after my grandmother's ornaments too 🙂

    Thank you so much for introducing me to a whole new way of quilling. It leaves the mind wide open for some beautiful 3D projects.

    they're gorgeous. some silver spray and a wire hook through the top dome before glueing it to the top is what I would do to match my tree. thanks so much for sharing. Merry Christmas.

    When you need to make a very large coil, have you considered using the curling coach and an automatic quilling tool together?
    I created an attachment to go on the automatic quilling tool. I cut a round circle out of a heavy duty plastic white milk carton. I then punched a hole in the center of it and put it on top of the tool. It then allows you to coil multiple strips using the automatic tool rather than having to finish it by hand.

      That sounds like a good plan. I love the DIY approach!

    Very very explained. Do u have tutorial for monogram letter as ornament without backing paper

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am working on a monogram video in the next month or two, but that timing may be too late. I do have another video with a different type of ornament that may give you some inspiration though. You can see it here 👉 th-cam.com/video/XOcqQ_VXxdo/w-d-xo.html If you already have a template of your letter, you can fill it with any type of quilling and add a hanger similar to the one in this video.

    They are gorgeous...thank you so much for sharing. I do have a question...hope it's not to silly. How do you keep you brush from getting hard from the glue. My brushes always turn rock hard.

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question! I use water soluble glue, like Elmer's Glue-All, so even if my brushes dry with glue on them (which they do every time because I always forget to clean them), I can clean them with warm water and the glue comes off. Sometimes they need to soak in water for a bit.

    Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your talent😊 What would you recommend if I wanted to seal the ornament?

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use Mod Podge as a sealant on ornaments, but I don't seal most of my work anymore. If you want loads of info on different sealants, check out HoneysQuilling.com They've done the research 🙂

    Me podría decir los diámetros de cada círculo? Por favor

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunatly, I wasn't measuring the diameter, only the length of the strips so I don't remember exactly. I think the top domes were about 1 inch across and the smaller ones were about 3/4". But they don't have to be the same exact size. As long as the strips you are using to make the domes are the same length, the 2 halves of your dome will fit together and you can build your ornaments.
