I like Lake😄 I’ve got the CX238’s as well & really like them - they’re leather so once they break in they fit like a glove. Also keep your feet warm in cold weather.
George. Road Runner Sports a running store makes custom insoles. You can take your shoes in and they'll mold them to your foot and they work fantastic for cycling. I've been using their insoles for many years. 100 times better the Spesh Stock insoles. I've tried those as well. I also wear the same insoles in my everyday shoes. Your feet sort of get used to that insole. Very comfy. They last about a couple of seasons. Insoles are A MUST for me. Major difference in foot comfort.
I rock these cx238 as mtb and road shoes 😜. The only bummer is that they are getting pretty hot on hot summer days. Otherwise really great shoes for wide feet
Walking or lifting is not a cycling motion. Driver heel back into the heel cup when you pedal. If still experiencing a loose heel then move up in the model line to a moldable heel cup shoe. Thanks for watching please consider subscribing

@@SeeYouUpTheRoadquestion do you know if Lake sizing is similar to a specialized?
@@tony5269no I do not know how Lake compares to Specialized. I don’t sell Specialized
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad cool thanks I appreciate you responding
@@tony5269 no worries! I’m just home on a Friday night editing a video for the channel. 😂
George. I want my toes to have more room. The Spesh Torch Wide is best for me, but damn. I don’t like black shoes. Plus, I really like laces. Sigh….
Sounds like You need a wide white shoe with laces 😂
Am trying to decide between S-Works Torch Wide and Lake 238 Wide. 238 is 116mm wide in 45. Any idea what Torch width measures?
I noteced the loose heel issue with MX238, too. Is it also an Issue when cycling or only when Walking or lifting the heel ?
