It's amazing to hear what John thinks is so important about this song, knowing my own feelings about the song are that the things he's talking about are small change items. This song hits me so much harder than John Waite seems to realize. I mean, that's okay. Artists want their audiences to find their own meaning in their work. For me this might be about my dark and desperate adolescence, and this being the song of hope for me. Not what John was after, but I found my own meaning. But having that experience makes his ideas about the song seem so trivial. Small Faces? Blues & gospel? Authentic gospel singers? No, they were my choir of angels singing to me that I needed to step back and take stock - I would get through the darkness. Not at all what John had in mind, but for me it was so much more meaningful. Now it's more like a song of conquest. I made it through all that! I never thought I'd be okay again, but I am!

Maybe this is the reason why I've liked to talk about it a lot over the years. I not only remember hearing these two positive songs I also remember hearing I Feel Love by Donna Summer. Which has been known as a song that's more electronical. Witch music historians say was on of the first songs that led to house music today. We didn't stay long we only went to the Atlanta Underground. I remember hearing this song Isn't It Time and another songs like Smoke From A Distant Fire by the Sanford and Townsend Band. Maybe this is the reason why I've liked to talk about it a lot over the years. I not only remember hearing these two positive songs I also remember hearing I Feel Love by Donna Summer. Which has been known as a song that's more electronical. Witch music historians say was on of the first songs that led to house music today. At 150 BPM I Feel Love was the fastest disco song of the 70's.
Cool beans my dear
This song was inescapable when it was a hit on the radio.
_Isn't It Time (Everytime I Think Of You) was part of my adolescence. It was me & my first (grade school) girlfriend's 'song'. That was such a simpler time. : )_
So sweet ❤❤

Classic. I do like Every Time I Think Of You more.
First time I heard this song in 1977 I thought "wow" this guy can sing and this is a great song but who is it? Back then many stations never said who the group or singer was. One time they said it and I thought the DJ said "Dayton". Then I finally found who it was and bought the album. I really only liked 4 songs on that album "Broken Heart" but became a lifelong Babys and john Waite fan and still buy all hi stuff to this day. "Isn't it Time" would definitely be in my list of all time favorite songs along with "Back on my feet again" from the great "Union Jacks" album.
Too cool John Waite is going to tell his side of the story perfect thank you so much hunny🇺🇸🇮🇱🇸🇭🇯🇲🇮🇪🇬🇧🇮🇪🇸🇭🇦🇩😇🤗😘💕
