Always on my mind, what to do, how to do it?
Chances are, you will only have, what you took time to prepare.
If you still have it! Maybe you only have some of it.
Can you adjust? What is the least amount you can get by with?
What will you need, to see tomorrow?
While serving in Desert Shield, and Desert Storm,
I learned, you need food, water, a way to stay dry when it rains, a way to get warm if you are cold, a way to cool off when you are hot, and
a place to Sleep.
I'm not real good at giving up, although, getting back up is harder than it use to be.

fun to see other people's minimalist packs. my pack concentrates on staying dry and warm, so i pack what i deem necessary to help me achieve that goal. lol, chair being in your pack, love it. when i go out even just for a hick, its tarps. i gotta have more than one tarp. thax 4 the tips

The pads, or ones similar, would be a good way to form the sleeping pad/insulation pad. I'll have to check it out further, thanks for the idea! And the chair, I mean, ya have to have one, after all we're not savages.

Especially if you have a good bivy bag, but this worked well. Two is one, one is none? Unless you have to carry it all day everyday, right! lol
