It upsets some people to hear but Tim from Polyphia is like the Hendrix or whatever other legendary guitarist of our era. He's revolutionized guitar in a huge way.

Oh great, now I have to remember to check out Clay while he's drumming to see what's up with that. 😄

Probably just your typical drummer and guitarist/bassist face. Sometimes your face just does stuff when you're rocking out.

I'm fairly sure Polyphia creates sounds that have never existed before in the history of humans, they intertwine so many time signatures and complex scales into each moment it turns my brain matter into an equation I cannot solve.

This one is super tricky to play for sure. It uses a ton of different picking techniques and is highly syncopated but surprisingly it's actually in 4/4. Lots of triplets though which (technically) count as polyrhythms.

Tim Henson is a Scorpio from Dallas TX. Pretty sure he just had a birthday. Alot of drummers yell or mouth along too. John Bonham from Led Zeppelin was big on that.

Mouthing notes or beats makes some people visualize and track what they're doing and where they're going better. It might just come naturally but it's easier to let it show than try to hide it while doing all the other things at the same time.
