I'm 15 years old and I'm hopeful now. Ben Shapiro is my favorite conservative commentator and he's my hero. He does a great job putting people in their place and DESTROYING them with FACTS and LOGIC! I was actually surprised he's only 36, I thought he'd be older but I was wrong.

There are plenty of reasons to oppose CAFOs, though being vegan/veg may not be natural either. The answer on a larger scale is for people to reclaim food production and those with land should raise their own farm animals. Every suburban lawn could provide enough grass for some sheep and ducks to graze and make their own food.

The state of California has laws requiring hot water heaters be strapped-in for earthquakes, but apparently no regulations putting distance between the populace and forests that will burn. It used to be that there were actual glaciers, hanging glaciers mostly, that lasted till the next snowfall. Those helped keep the fires a bit less bad. Have never heard a defense on why society draws the line somewhere between “assault style” firearms and fully automatic firearms, as far as what society makes commonly accessible. The problem with utilizing the term, "Assault weapon" is that it is incongruent when we are talking about firearms. If assault is merely a noun in this case than all firearms ought to be considered an assault weapon. And if only a verb, than only a particular firearm which has been used to perpetrate an assault should be called one. The fact of the matter is that the term has been coined not to accurately describe the upper limits of what is deemed reasonable in terms of the 2nd amendment, but rather to demonize firearms in general and to haphazardly assign an upper limit. Worse, most people who propagate the term neither understand firearms in general nor care to understand them as they are not motivated to discuss the matter through honestly interpreting the 2nd amendment. Instead they are motivated, rightly or wrongly, by compassion as a reaction to a terrible incident or incidents.

The state of California has laws requiring hot water heaters be strapped-in for earthquakes, but apparently no regulations putting distance between the populace and forests that will burn. I don't expect consistency out of people or the governments.

The difficulty with controlled burns is that people keep building closer the forrests AND that the state is drier these days. It used to be that there were actual glaciers, hanging glaciers mostly, that lasted till the next snowfall. Those helped keep the fires a bit less bad.
Yes global warming is a contributing factor to the fire storms. They WILL happen no matter what as California can have a LOT dry years in a row between El Niños.

Have never heard a defense on why society draws the line somewhere between “assault style” firearms and fully automatic firearms, as far as what society makes commonly accessible. The problem with utilizing the term, "Assault weapon" is that it is incongruent when we are talking about firearms. If assault is merely a noun in this case than all firearms ought to be considered an assault weapon. And if only a verb, than only a particular firearm which has been used to perpetrate an assault should be called one. The fact of the matter is that the term has been coined not to accurately describe the upper limits of what is deemed reasonable in terms of the 2nd amendment, but rather to demonize firearms in general and to haphazardly assign an upper limit. Worse, most people who propagate the term neither understand firearms in general nor care to understand them as they are not motivated to discuss the matter through honestly interpreting the 2nd amendment. Instead they are motivated, rightly or wrongly, by compassion as a reaction to a terrible incident or incidents.
