What the hell is going on ! 385 LSB. Every heard this stuff before ?

- Someone causing trouble on the 27.385. WHY ! Someone recording others and playing it back then some long tones transmitted over copies which could be slow data ? I am not sure. The USA breakers were not happy and the response was pretty funny though.

This is normal when you listen to such a big area (skip) while all using the same frequency, the same can be received in Australia.
One has to understand that many there cannot hear each other as its short skip for them.
Go to ch39 or 40 and you could have a great DX using 12watt SSB.
its their 555 so its going to sound like that.. listen to t5 with a sdr.. in france /Germany or US you, ll see what a bunch of idiots "we" are lol...

I was on UK channel 19 yesterday, straight FM sitting in the car in a traffic jam near the Dartford Tunnel and the skip was amazing. Heard several stations coming in from Ohio and also the East Coast. Reminds me of the early 1980s.
That's bull5hit U.S don't use FM it's classed illegal there plus that wouldn't be transmitting on UK FM anyway

First time ive heard it in the UK. Took me about 30 mins to work out that the com was just repeated due to SW fade etc.

You should have ordered a CRT SS 7900V Turbo.
The 6900 is a great starting radio. Its easier than the 7900 (they perform the same). A basic Silver Rod will get you going.

Prop has been east and west at the same time I heard 43 div and 2 div both chatting to different 26 div stations both 5/9 truely incredible..
its not data we hsve are own freqs for that and undicernably to AM fm users on the same channel.. to think 3-5 years ago prop was negative to these stations and the cycle has two years to go till peak..

Fred Channel 38 CB has turned into a true Sh**t Show here in the US. I have an old CB I listen to while I am running FT8 on 20 meters. If I want to listen to skip from UK or the EU I am on 37 or 39. Channel 38 has gone to the dogs. 73 Joe

Everyone i know is doing FT8 on 40/20 SSB is a thing of the past with all the mad dogs keying up.

OMG I was on the same channel that day and heard the very exact same thing. I can't remember if I was DX ing or just listening. I've been getting strong signals from that way, ireland, scottland, germany, italy. Cheers from 305 in Pennsylvania across the pond.

A lot of times when you're picking up the New England area, you'll find a small group of operators talking on 27.383. They may be doing it to aggravate some locals but at least their conversations are usually normal/BS free. Other areas use 27.390 to avoid the .385 carnival.

Ya know it's easy to say ignore it but as a newbie its really frustrating I'm in Alabama this freaking sucks it goes for hours. Take that crap to a different channel it's that and on 19 here in the USA we got an jackwagon goes by mud duck or hard drive got out trucker channel locked up for hours running a Stryker 955 and a BIG Amp always saying back to the bench. The Beep is just some idiot trying to tune up and at the same time trying to blow his finals up. It's not just on CB it happens all the time on the Ham Band's. Why O why people can't use a free frequency to tune up after 1st getting close into a Dummy load and then just a couple of seconds on air.

I heard it the other day as well Fred, it’s someone using what’s called a Parrot repeater, we have a couple of halfwits using them up in Glasgow on Ch19 FM daily. The same person doing this in the video was also deliberately transmitting this recording slightly off frequency on 383 so that it caused even more noise on 385.
my next roof project involves putting up long range TV antenna up i bought. It's easy, but you ever notice your scared of heights as you get older? ha! I want to snake my air vent down for toilets/drain on roof, clean gutters and try and fix a constant, future leaky ice damn problem. My buddy says, It doesn't make any sense you pay for Internet anyway with the Roku.

We have the 1,1,1, guy with a bad sounding 11111111111111 repeat who stays keyed up for up to 10 hours straight on channel 38 it can be heard in north US and south Canada areas possibly in Europe too.
Why, the do it? Small kids do it to. Just to impress. Showing off, just to get reactions. Just ignore or have a good laugh.🙂

Fred it's sometimes truly crazy, I have bizarre conversations between two stations talking about profanity s that I will not repeat, tarzan, sirens, recordings is nearly normal, only way is to put a shout out and qsy 😊 enjoying your videos, good work my friend 👍👍

Yup it's often 27.383 and the guy who is off channel has a youtube channel. I've asked him many times why he is on 383 ruining the sound of skip. He never answers. His channel is the quarter hoarder he let it slip once when I was listening to them on 383. He was a right arse so possibly is the guy doing this.
Ive often heard that guy over here. It sound like his running off mode by the time it hits the UK.

When anyone tunes down to them and has a go at them and they seem to love the attention. I have posted a few comments on his youtube channel and he never says 'what are you talking about?' He just never answers.

Used to happen a lot on the top end of 80m in the dx portion..
What you hear at 3:58 - 4:00 is some guys talking on 27.383. The recording constantly explains it at 4:20. All these and more are very common on channel 38, the "mana mana" guy, the "111111111111111111" guy. They are the same kids that talk and play on 7.200 Mhz. They switch frequencies when they get bored. I even heard someone working the morse code one day. Shame or not, we cannot change it. Thank you for reading.
What you heard was Aliens trying to communicate, hence there beep is different to everyone else and the mañana is them talking you need to understand there tongue

I don’t think you’re right with some of this Fred. Sounds to me like a tone generator that someone is using to check the power output on their ssb radio. I use one too, but I wouldn’t use it on the main CQ frequency!
I use some data modes, not on 11m, and it's not something I have heard yet.
It's just a year since I returned to radio. With some notable exceptions 11m CB is a complete mess.
The skip on midband AM coming from the states has plenty of people like this, embarrasing

theres certainly more data, radar, codar noises appearing in the band due to prop.. if prop (stateside) brings in 50,000 stations say and just 1% of are morons thats alot of idiots... teres alot of other call channels for US and around the world mate..

You have to have a screw loose to be on CB. I admit I used to have an RCI2950 but me and my friends was never on the triple 5 choosing to pirate more should we say really dodgy band locations. The muppets on 555 and the UK FM bands we’d left to themselves.

Yes someone doing it to me and a friend on 144MHZ BEEP BEPP BEEP. It sounds like a Baofeng Beep but we are only 10 mins apart from each other so pointless them doing it lol.
