I often come back to hear your lovely piece, but i have to admit i prefer the bassoon version, I think it has a magic taste that isn't equalized by the viola (even if i understand that some parts were not confortable in the higher register for the bassoon) PS : i don't know which version is the definitive, keep up the good work
Thanks for your kind remarks. The title, Doppler Effect , came to mind when I was in Rome sitting at an outdoor cafe and hearing the sirens go by due to the many auto accidents. So, having the instruments go down by a half step kind of brings the doppler effect to mind.
Reminds me of the Ballad of the Wind Fish from LoZ Links Awakening. A wonderful piece.
