I hope this doesn't sound too weird but, this is something my dad would have loved to do. He loved to make 'roleplay' videos and was always soft spoken, back in the early 90s late 2000's of course. Your videos remind me of him, thank you for that as I miss him dearly.

Floyd's manager has gotta be like "Hey, really exceptional customer service, truly fantastic (aside from ignoring the customers for the first two minutes every time one comes in), but you can't keep spending 45 minutes with everyone describing every single item on the menu."

I’m very often hungry while watching asmr because they’re usually food themed, but I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to pull food through my phone more than from this video before. It looks so damn good!! And your voice is so soothing, this diner is definitely gonna be a regular spot for me!
It's very nostalgic and I love it. I can learn about the diner experience from before I was born when everything was 25 cents.
My favorite part of these videos is when you're preparing the food qnd whispering here and there about what you're doing or what you need to do, keep it up!

@@hazeust Mid sixties I was a kid. Yea I am old. I recall my first experience of what I now know is ASMR from first grade teacher in 1963. Her story-time readings or the sound of the paper bag as objects were slowly pulled out during Show & Tell.

I wish it was winter. Coming in from the rain to a 50’s diner would her awesome. Subtle rain sounds in the background. Hot coffee, a chat, steak and eggs followed by another coffee, perhaps a B52 to get warm up before going back to the rain.
That is just perfection right there!
The chili options are a good touch. OG chili doesn't have beans, but sometimes you need to dump some in.
I particularly enjoyed the plating part of the video.
