I forgot to cover how to position the kneeboard in VR. This is how you do it along with my settings. Open the Open Kneeboard app and to to settings. Go to VR. There is a section called "Position". The vertical distance control is how far the tablet is from your head center in VR (like when you press the key to set your VR position... that position) My distance would probably work for most people around 6 feet tall, and I have it at "0.50m". The Left-to-right position is how far it is to the left or right of center with the center line from your nose being the center. Mine is set to "0.14m". The forward position is the distance forward from that head position. I have mine set to "0.45 m" And then the pitch/roll/yaw in degrees is how tilted the kneeboard is on its axis. I have my pitch slider down a little from center, my roll on center, and my yaw a little to the right. All of those settings result in the tablet being on my right leg, slightly tilted to me, and rotated a little clockwise as you see in my videos.
Damn!! Thanks for the video! The OpenKneeboard docs don't even tell you to 'Install' the OTD-IPC!! It just says to drag and drop it and close the window.
@@MrSnacko Yeah, that’s why I recorded the vid. Glad you found it helpful. I figured I’d save people from feeling around in the dark the way I had to. If only they’d just make clear concise docs.
Great ! Got it to work using your instructions Thx- As for the in VR localization of the actual tablet, how do you move it around so it is where you actually want it ?

Thank you. I was hoping you would do this.
