  • Newly-appointed Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean
Macpherson says there'll be no procuring of any new housing stock or
offices for both the executive and parliamentarians.
Macpherson says the department's asset register is not desirable as it
    should be.
He says there's enough office space and there's no need for more.

Thank you Minister of Public works. That’s what we call Leadership. CORRUPTION MUST GO, CORRUPTION MUST GO. BRING BACK OUR COUNTRY that was stolen by corrupt individuals in our watch. Remove corrupt people from government positions. I love this Minister. Don’t be scared, do your work.

LET THE DA COOK🔥🔥🔥 I’m tired of the hollow ANC promises. It’s time for change. I’m interested only in the quality of life for the people and ANC has shown over 30 years that they cannot do that, they have sold us out. All for Johnnie Blue label and BMWs

I like that he's making sure there's an open line of communications with, eg. the local communities and other departments. Such a mess of 30 years of mismanagement to sort out. I wish him every strength. He's also showing good business sense. If this is the calibre of the new (non ANCancer) leaders now in government, there's hope.

Lease agreements are a shocking state of affairs. There is no accountability to honoŕing a lease agreement. The assets of the state are used and abused and often invaded. There is no accounting to maintaining a property leased and here is where one ends up with the proverbial PROBLEM BUILDINGS. It all boils down to incompetence in management and wasteful expenditure. Heads should be rolling.
