My challenge to you is to get all your animals to be one species. It took me over 2 years to get all koalas on my island using no amiibo cards and almost no time traveling. I did however use nookazon to get nmt’s and even pay for one koala. You can choose what species you want, since cats and dogs are probably some of the easiest since they’re the most abundant villagers, but I did this challenge because the addition of Faith in the last update made it so that there are only 10 koalas in ACNH. With 10 plots available this means I completely achieved Koala% Edit: you can make any restrictions/handicaps you’d like, but the only rule I am challenging is that you need all of one species. How you get them is up to you.
@@thepickleking5717 ozzie was one of my first villagers on my gamecube and ever since his reintroduction in New Leaf I have never not had him in my town. He actually inspired me to start the Koala% population on my original ACNH island. I love him so much that I have his amiibo card, however I bought it after I already had him on my island just in case I accidentally skipped thru dialogue and kicked him out. He’s definitely the most underrated koala due to being a Lazy villager that is just a grey koala, but he has a special place in my heart. And who can’t resist his adorable smile?

PLUS had he decided to make golden roses as a challenge before doing the actual speedrun (as well as all the other challenges he thought of during the speedrun), he would've had enough time after getting S Rank house to do so.
My 5 year old daughter just started to get into wanting to play video games with me so I excitedly gave her my old switch lite and animal crossing cart. I completely forgot that I never used the island transfer tool to move over my island when I got my OLED. My island is gone forever. I had YEARS and like a hundred million bells and nearly every item and my museum was finished and I had like 14 villager photos, and all my favorite villagers. I’m so so sad. I needed this video to realize how much fun starting over can really be. I’m happy she loves it too and I’m glad there such a chill wholesome game for her to play but I really wish I had used my entire brain.
Not a challenge but I’d genuinely love to just watch you “world build” an island from the ground up. Like choose a theme, collect furniture, befriend or have beef with certain villagers, make your dream home. Etc. Literally just a basic let’s play but it’s you doing it so it would probably be way funnier and cooler 😎
Possibly for the next game, I've played too long for things in ACNH to be novel and fun anymore outside of challenging myself like this, but when the game is new and fresh again I might do stuff like that

You should try to get a completely max island, i’m talking full museum, full critterpedia, 5star rating, S rated house, all the flowers and all golden tools.

I personally always give villagers a wrapped accessed fossil thats sells fot more than 3k. I check if it is worth over 3k by using the selling box outside nooks cranny (since you dont have to go through all the dialog for every single fossil) I have gotten over 20 villagers photos by doing that. It also doesnt change your villagers interior design, since they wont place the fossil inside the house (if you care about this)

i actually did two rounds of turnips this morning to get the final stamp for cornering the stock market - on my second week i had a large spike with 490 bells per and made over 4 million in profit just that week. this was such a fun challenge! that gold rose at the end was such a clutch
Btw if you're playing on the switch, you can spam the "B" button to make dialog go faster. Also, the "B" button goes to the next part of dialog. But from what I know (not much cause, i only play on the switch), it only works on the switch

on day 3 (today) it was my 5th or 6th hour on my new island I reset 2 days ago. And FILLED OUT ALL PLOTS AND FINISHED NOOKS CRANNY SO QUICK. I haven’t even upgraded the museum from the tent (I donated all 15 yesterday)

Plus the loading screens are usually not counted in the timing of speedruns if they are this stupidly long, so I think it counts
