    As someone who worked in a PRC state run company in Cambodia, I believe PRC govt is doing something covertly. They can't interfere with what is going on in another sovereign country.But somehow with things that they did covertly and in cooperation with the local government, many scam gangs were actually busted in Phnom Penh in 2022.
    With almost 2 decades of self inflicted political instability I actually have less faith in Thai police and security. Even an innocent tuk tuk ride in Thailand can end with extortion.
    We shall see.

    • @sl7864
      @sl7864 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @1m65 just to clarify. I think Thai police are generally trying to uphold law & order and the individual police officer acts in good faith. But Thai political instability & Extremely tough lese majeste laws has led to mistrust between the uniformed services and the masses. Furthermore, they legalise recreational cannabis and Thailand has been portrayed as prostitution capital and all these brings in other problems and creates lots of "grey areas" in upholding the law so the individual police constable have so many things to look out for and will be overwhelmed. Like how is a policeman going to tell the difference between a kidnap vs a friend helping his drugged out friend into a van.
      In Cambodia is quite the same except the government is a bit more beholden to PRC due to obor investments. So it's like when the PRC has enough of their own citizens running crime syndicates there affecting their image and citizens, they can pull certain strings. But not in Thailand. For better or worse.

That could be any number higher than a dozen. Also, I do believe there are a lot of scammers in those regions, but I doubt the number of them. Firstly I would like to know how the article estimated the number of scammers and how they verify if someone is a scammer??? Also, who funds these small research groups? Are they state funded for example. Many small crime investigative and research think tanks are usually funded by NGOs like the NED (CIA cookie cutout) and the military industrial complex. For example, ASPI who writes fake and biased articles are funded by the military industrial complex.

      @@1m65 Using historical events to make broad claims about "Chinese people" as a whole demonstrates prejudiced thinking. Every population has experienced civil conflicts throughout history. By your flawed logic, one could point to any civil war or internal conflict (American Civil War, French Revolution, Russian Civil War, etc.) to make similar claims about any ethnic or national group. The Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864) involved complex political, social, and religious factors during a different historical period. The Nanjing Massacre (1937) was part of a military invasion and occupation. The actions during the Taiping Rebellion don't justify or diminish the events at Nanjing. My thinking is clear and I am pointing out your mistake in logic which I am afraid is flawed and deeply problematic.

    • @NextEpicMarketing
      @NextEpicMarketing 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@lkt56 Your attempt to moralize and deflect reeks of intellectual dishonesty. Historical civil conflicts like the Taiping Rebellion highlight the internal tragedies of Chinese governance and society, something deeply relevant when discussing the CCP's current lack of accountability and disregard for human rights. Stop using the "everyone had civil wars" argument as a shield; it's lazy, reductive, and misses the point entirely.
      History shows that the Chinese government has no issue exploiting, suppressing, or even killing its own people when it serves their interests. The Cultural Revolution, Great Leap Forward, and Tiananmen Square massacres are modern examples, not ancient history of this pattern. Comparing these to foreign invasions like the Nanjing Massacre is comparing apples to oranges.
      Your attempt to mask historical reality with lofty rhetoric is laughable. Instead of addressing the CCP’s failures or the state’s long tradition of oppressing its own people, you deflect into philosophical nonsense. Here's a tip: if you're going to defend the indefensible, at least try not to sound like you're reading off a poorly written propaganda script

    Mr Loo, I've seen many other youtube sharing. They suggest that the KK Park is CCP government run project under the Belt-Road-initiative. It has been around for many years already...and the electricity, water, telephone cards etc are supplied by CCP. It is such a big compound that only government level can build and sustain. They are the reasons why the rest are not released. Probably you can research on this and share in another video as this will help people understand the source of the crime.

    • @bogodoyandex9654
      @bogodoyandex9654 17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      KK Park and other parks were indeed originally built as part of the Belt and Road Initiative. However, this does not mean that the operations within these parks are controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In countries like Myanmar, where warlords control territories, the situation has changed. In the past, the Golden Triangle was known for drug production, but now it has shifted to human trafficking and scam operations. The most likely scenario is that the Belt and Road Initiative failed in this country for various reasons, such as war or internal conflicts. Ultimately, these buildings were left behind, controlled by local warlords, and later taken over by criminal elements from China. Some of these criminals may have had contact with Xi Jinping (though this does not imply Xi Jinping supports their actions). For example, some Malaysian Chinese politicians, even unknowingly, may end up taking photos with figures from Chinese scam groups. The criminal leaders are mainly from mainland China, with some from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and even Singapore.
      Although the CCP has many flaws, there are also individuals who exploit these situations to create a narrative of slander based on 10% truth and 90% fabricated content. These individuals engage in a form of scam, brainwashing the majority. For instance, a recent "anti-China" individual in his video mentioned that Xi Jinping is the mastermind behind these operations. In that video, he showed a clip of the Thai female prime minister speaking in Thai, but the subtitles claimed she said, "She is also a descendant of the Yan and Huang clans. Her ancestors come from China. As long as China gives the order, Thailand will immediately take action and send troops to eradicate the criminals in Myanmar's parks." Such content can only deceive people who lack common sense in international politics. When has Thailand ever had the authority to send troops into another country to carry out military actions and eliminate a criminal network with thousands of bandits and numerous Myanmar warlords, all at China's command?
      The internet is flooded with malicious and distorted information about China and the CCP, much of which is not factual. The CCP is certainly an inadequate political party. Similarly, the utilitarian, self-glorifying, yet ineffective attitude prevalent in Chinese society is also frustrating. However, many people who have left China now engage in unethical practices to smear China in order to please another group. These people have inherited negative traits of Chinese society-lacking moral boundaries. But just because something is disliked or criticized, it doesn't make it untrue. Facts are facts, and we should not let subjective judgments or malicious slander distort them.

    • @NextEpicMarketing
      @NextEpicMarketing 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@bogodoyandex9654 Your argument is a chaotic mix of biased assumptions, contradictions, and convenient deflections. Let's break it down:
      The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI): Claiming that parks built under BRI are later "taken over" by criminals implies a failure of the CCP’s governance and oversight. You want credit for BRI when it succeeds, but conveniently deny responsibility when it breeds corruption and crime. Can’t have it both ways.
      "Contact with Xi Jinping doesn’t imply support": This reeks of straw man deflection. No one credible is claiming direct orders from Xi. However, the consistent inability, or unwillingness, of the CCP to address crimes linked to its citizens and initiatives raises legitimate suspicions.
      "Slandering China with 10% truth and 90% fabrication": This is rich. The CCP is notorious for spreading propaganda where "truth" is buried under layers of deception. Deflecting criticism as "anti-China" is a lazy way to dodge accountability.
      Thailand and Military Action: You mock the feasibility of Thailand intervening militarily in Myanmar, yet conveniently ignore that China's influence often overrides sovereignty in the region. Beijing uses its economic power to sway smaller nations, so your argument only highlights the CCP’s hypocrisy.
      Moral high ground: Claiming people who criticize China are "inheriting negative traits" from Chinese society is laughable. It reeks of the very self-glorification and moral relativism you supposedly dislike in Chinese culture.
      You end by saying "facts are facts," yet your entire argument is an exercise in cherry-picking and framing. If the CCP wants to be seen as a responsible global leader, it should stop hiding behind excuses and start cleaning up the messes its policies and citizens create.

    Your statement that “Chinese kill more Chinese” is over simplistic. One cannot lump civil wars etc into the calculation. During the communist early days, some economic errors were made, compounded with natural famine, causing quite a bit of suffering, but you must include the effect of foreign blockades etc into the discussion. Invaders are invaders, even causing a single death is too many.

      @@Leongchor No one's asking China to "join the Myanmar civil war." How about starting with shutting down the flow of communications and internet services from Chinese telcos enabling these scam operations? Or are they "strategically unavoidable" too? And the "economic errors" excuse for mass suffering? Call it what it was: criminal negligence. Blaming foreign blockades while Chinese leaders massacred their own is peak deflection. China builds highly sophisticated military islands and spies network globally, yet "can't stop scams on its doorstep." Talk about selective incompetence.

    The Nanking Massacre and the horrible unit 731 experiments are totally incomparable in brutality compared with wars. How can you actually compare war with massacre? Regardless of the number, wars happened a lot in the past all over the world and if you totalled the number of war victims because of domestic wars throughout the Chinese history of course it is huge since China has 5000 years of history. But it's totally different from massacre where Japan brutally killed & tortured defenseless civilians (infants, pregnant women, elderlies), not in war but for their maniac pleasure. It's totally demonic. Totally different in nature and incomparable. For someone to think that the Nanking massacre is far better compared to wars, I'm speechless. Nazi's holocaust is remembered for a reason.

    • @NextEpicMarketing
      @NextEpicMarketing 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Your moral posturing is as hollow as your logic. Yes, the Nanking Massacre was a horrific atrocity, no one's disputing that. But your attempt to dismiss centuries of Chinese-on-Chinese slaughter as "just wars" while selectively demonizing others reeks of hypocrisy. Defenseless civilians were also killed en masse during the Cultural Revolution, the Great Leap Forward, and countless other "non-war" CCP campaigns. Were those "totally different in nature"? Were those deaths somehow less tragic because they were caused by Chinese leaders instead of foreign invaders?
      And while you conveniently invoke the Holocaust, remember this: Germany owned up to its past, while your CCP whitewashes its atrocities, erecting Mao’s portrait in Tiananmen Square as if the millions who perished under his rule never existed. Save the righteous indignation, it’s not convincing coming from someone excusing the crimes of a regime that killed its own with the same brutality it accuses others of.
