Driving days are always stressful in a relationship. Who can relate? We are getting better at it though. ❤️
Pulling into Searsport Shores Ocean Campground (Maine) was magical. I immediately knew this place special the moment we entered. There were wild gardens to my right, a stage for musical performances to my left, and goats! I came in at the perfect time because Astrig, the wonderful owner, was shaving her goat named Black Licorice Jelly Bean for the first time ever. Astrig is even spinning the wool into yarn. How cool is that?! Breathtaking ocean views, music, arts, goats, chickens, seals, and most of all community... It was the first campsite where I turned to Chris and said "Hunny, let's make this a tradition and come back here every year".
We were going to stay for only week, and book another place in Bar Harbor closer to Acadia. But we have an oceanfront spot here and Acadia is just an hr away. So this is home for the rest of our time in Maine. If only it were more stunning 😜

We are Julie Tran and Chris Ziccardi, wife and husband co-founders of RV Live with Freedom Frequency. We are elder millennials and have been married for almost ten years (together for 13)! We are foster parents on a chapter break, and former corporate professionals turned entrepreneurs and Freedom Coaches. In early 2021, because of the pandemic and a major life event (our foster children were re-unified with their biological parents), we sold our dream house in Connecticut for the liberation of full time RV life.
