This light will be a nice upgrade for automotive repairs. Anyone else frustrated trying to use the old retractable metal shield task light to see what you're doing around the engine?

Ya know, I clicked on your Video, thinking, yeah, another little ‘gadgetry’ light, and I have seen others that have content about it, but I thought, I gotta give it a view for my ‘Buddy’ Mark, and I am a big fan of any kind of light, just ask my wife! 😆 I gotta tell ya, this is one great little light, and Milwaukee has done their homework on it. I have several Rover lights, and just recently added, finally, a Rocket light to my collection, and it has come in handy for renovating the apartment space in my basement. Excellent review, and this is the first one I have looked at on TH-cam. A follow up is in order, as You use it more, and can gauge the runtime, and durability? Which tape model is that @ 6:03 ? I didn't see it on the Milwaukee website, but a quick search had it come up on Amazon.... amzn.to/3zTir3Z The Amazon one looks the same except for it has the word magnet on the front. This is a great tape measure. It fits nice in the hand and has that opening on the bottom to squeeze the tape with your finger. And yes... stay tuned for some follow-ups on this light.
Oh, I’m always forgetting something, call me ‘Colombo!’ 🙄 I have been putting off replacing the ballast in our Main Bedroom closet. I ain’t calling it Primary! 😯 So I know what ya mean about those wires! I will have to get that done this week, as it is taking two to three throws of the light switch to get it to turn on. Maybe I can justify to the ‘Boss’ why I need to pick this up??? 🤔😆🤷🏻♂😆 Take care.
I hear ya, I can't seem to call it a primary either. I spent a lot of years taking customers though homes up until 2013 and I would answer a lot of questions about the different names of the rooms in the homes. 😅🤷♂️ A few years ago I came across the Wago wire connectors for replacing ballasts. They're my go-to for connecting the new wires. They might not be for everybody, but I sure like them. Good luck with your project!
Husky has the same for $15. Now it runs out of juice in 3 hours, but you can buy another for $15 and use it for the next 3 hours. That's your work day. Meanwhile, you've saved 50% over that Milwaukee one.
Interesting, thanks for sharing. I just checked it out and notice some similarities, but also noticed it's much thicker. I also wonder how close the light is to the Milwaukee Trueview color? I may have to see if I can turn it on in the store. My favorite Husky light is the 210 lumen Neck Light. It's great for going outside at night, like taking the trash out my long driveway. I avoid stepping in potholes with it.🙌
Typical free red fanboy…4hrs on high . Useless. The Klein is much longer at 9hr on high for less…the O Light is much better, even the Husky at $15 is better

The dewalt one has a clip attachment as well as it being magnetic.
