every image is sellable, it just depends on your target demographic, "artsy" and "unconventional" is just as much an image as "couture" or "preppy", everyone sells themselves to a point. It's telling that she said they basically made the keyboardist and drummer wear makeup on stage and odd clothes, that reflects an image obsession, not a natural expression.

So, human perception works in very different ways, but still I believe in some kind of a universal criteria that make a true art what it is, and these girls absolutely fit into that paradigm.
