gimli is a 6w7 - "The Buddy"
when i said i have no choice then i have no choice- gimli do be confusing me so much my brain exploded. but either way- it's all resolved now i'm finally finished with gimli hooray :D
I wanted this to be special,, or at least decent enough. I really admire Sixes and their courage and would like to give them justice using this underrated character. But Gimli is a hard character to make a video on aaaAAAAA not impossible but still,,, I'm not good at memorizing lotr scenes?? i always have to rewatch it always before making a vid bc w o w all I could clearly remember is samfro scenes lmfaoo i'm not even kidding
but anyway i,, yeah here it is.

ugh true though!! I hate how he just became a character used as a comic relief in the movies, his serious, emotional moments showing how great of a character he is (and still could be!) are so short! And John did such a good job playing him. He does deserve more praise and attention. :((

underrated character
There is a disappointing lack of Gimli content on the internet. He is the #1 lotr character of all time. Thank you for the gimli tribute.
Okay, I say this every time and if I never stop that’s probably a good thing, BUT YOU HAVE SUCH TALENT. I love everything that I see on this channel, I swear. How do you do it, my friend? I bet professional editors hear boss music when walking by you. You’re just really good. You have the three things that make a good edit in all. Your. Videos.
1. The song has to fit the vibe (you do that perfectly and have introduced me to so many great songs).
2. You have to be able to put the right clips in at the right moments or else it ends up looking weird (something I grew stronger at by watching your videos).
3. You have put dialogue in right or it’ll feel out of place (despite the fact that you use much more dialogue in your videos than I see in some other edits, it all feels like it should be there and idk how you do it).
I recently finished some projects I was working on and I just want to say that I’d have never finished them without being inspired by your videos. I thank you greatly.

And ah, well, I don't know, really. I just open an editing app, start a project, and make things up along the way, test things out to see if they look good, and at the end of the process just give myself a pat in the back and remind myself that I did great - which is really important! It sounds narcissistic to some but really, encouraging yourself and being gentle with yourself is the only key, as well as just doing whatever you want, however you want. You don't have to prove yourself to others, do what you're passionate about.
(But oh my laawd "I bet professional editors hear boss music when walking by you" made me laugh so hard dgfhsk I still have a looong way to go to improve and actually become like the professional editors out there but thank you for this, I feel both flattered and amused. :D)
And you're totally right, these three things are important and what I always keep in mind!! I love this so much, this is so beautiful. The music, the voicover is just so book!LOTR. The first words are so touching.
I would have subtitled the voiceovers and not the music though. It is too loud and I can't understand everything.
Thank you - and next time I'd try to do so. I'm having problems with how I'd handle audios and how to mix music and voiceover together and make them both clear and understandable.
