  • Welcome to Apex Extinction Part 2! Australian woodlands are iconic, and for good reason! Rocky outcrops, beautiful sunsets and a unique range of flora and fauna that is not found anywhere else in the world.
    How strange it is that the destructive powers of fire should be a critical process in these environments, to give life and provide an opportunity for these places to flourish.
    Many groups are working hard to protect these environments and restore a natural balance, to create healthy ecosystems and safe communities. See how Orchids grow and how to find them by seeing them in their natural environments.
    Come and have a look at how orchids again sit on top of these amazing ecosystems and grace it with colour and shapes that defy imagination!
