You CANNOT replicate the feeling of being at a Trower show!!! My first Trower show I had NO IDEA Davey Pattison was singing for him 🤗 My God, what a night!!
I think after James Dewar, Davey Pattison was a good combination for Robin. In this gig, Davey's vocals could've used less reverb. I do like Robins' s wet effects on the guitar. Saw them this tour, back in 1988. One of the best shows ever! This Rocks thanks for posting it.
I believe I was there, Austin Opera House. Great concert! I had a mushroom pizza so Trower's playing was even more emotive than usual. Basically, I could feel his leads With him. I'll never forget that.
Its as if James Dewar has inhabited Davey's consciousness and coaxed his own voice out mixed with Davey's. Brilliant,but the vocals are mixed a bit far back in the mix. The cymbals are louder lol.
